'What if he lied to you?' I shook my head. 'If he was lying to me. I would of known.' I said to Janet's wolf. 'Just get out of my humans, okay. I'll think about it.' I nodded and got out. "Well, what did she say?" Janet said slowly. "She said she'll think about it and I want you two to talk about what I said together, alright?" She nodded.
"I'm going down stairs to talk to everyone. If you need me, just call." She nodded and I left the room. As I entered in the living room, everyone went to me to ask questions, but I raised my hand to silenced them. I told them about how I'm getting Janet on my side as she and her wolf talk about it. Then we all went to John's office and talked about tomorrow morning.
"So it's the lake where you two meet in your dreams?" I nodded. "That's where we will fight. Any questions?" Tim raised his hand high in the air. "Yes, Tim." I said.
"What if one of us die in battle?" He said slowly to me.
"That's not going to happen, never. I'm not letting any of you die in this battle. I promise." I said to him. "Lightning, even if you could promise us that. Doesn't make it won't happen. I'm proud to call you my sister, if I die tomorrow. I'm glad I had a good life." Everyone did the same, spoke in words that made me cry. I want to yell at them to stop, but no words came out. "And if I die tomorrow. I'm glad that I was raised by you all. I'm proud to call you my family, even if I didn't have nothing before. You gave it all. Thank you all." I said through tears. They nodded and we all grouped hug each other. As we hugged each other the door opened and Janet came in. She looked at me first. "I'll help you defeat your uncle and my mate." She said slowly. I smiled at her and ran to give her a hug. As tall I am she was to my chest.
So that whole night we ate our last meal till tomorrow if we live through the war. Tomorrow is the war. Where blood will be shed and death shall take place.
Time, that's what everyone says. How long can time go, well it cannot slow down. Time in space is where I belong and how I live through anything. I shall take place as any form of life as a animal. I'll die to the end of time to protect my family and mate. Goddess of Etro, if you hear my thoughts. Please be with me.
This is where the battle begins.
December 31, 2013. The day of the battle. Where we will see who will survive or be killed.
Lightning, a strong warrior with a pure heart of gold.
A Goddess, a girl who holds everything in her hands. Time and space, where she will guide people to freedom.
Death. Blood. Death. Blood.
Everywhere. I see it, red liquid all over the grass that once was green. I dropped to my knees, letting the blood splash all over me and my white feathers were bloody. I couldn't breath as the air smelt like blood and smoke. I looked up to see everything was burned to the ground. Bodies of once dead and alive, bodies that turned to ashes.
A fire started to begin as I was on my knees. The heat was unbelievable. A laugh was heard over the thunder that began. "You see Lightning. You can't save any of them. Not even your mate." His voice was like thunder. I looked up and to see Zach on his knees. Nothing came out as I watch Marcus slit his throat. Zach's body fell to the ground with a thump. I fist my hands together. I was broken. Nothing I could do to stop him. Then I felt this strong power came over me. I stood up with my sword out and ready. Marcus was shocked that I was getting up.
Tears rolled down my cheeks as I stalked toward him. Ashes were everywhere of my dead family and my animals. I finally got the words to speak. "You think you could win Marcus. No one can win this fight unless one of us dies. And you are the one to die." Then I ran to him, but he was ready. As my sword went through him his dagger went into my stomach.
Everything was a bright light after that. I woke with a gasp. Was I dead? Am I in heaven?" No, my dear Lightning." I looked up to see a throne of Crystal. No one was sitting at the throne. "Who's there?" I got up slowly. I looked at myself. My feathers were white and clean, even my wound was gone. "You are my warrior." I looked around to see who spoke, no one was there till a bright light came.
