I grabbed his face and slowly turned it to face me and his throat was cut open. He opened his eyes slowly so it looked like he was peeking through his eyelashes. "L-Lightning." He coughed my name out. "I'm here. I can heal you. Let me se-." I was interrupted by him. "I-It's o-ok Light. I-I died in a great battle. M-My life wasn't e-easy, but I'm glad I l-lived it." He said slowly.
"But I can't let you die. It isn't right. Please let me help you. You haven't found your mate yet." He chuckled and coughed up blood. "I d-did find my m-mate, but she r-rejected me for another boy. I-I'm fine with w-what she chose to do with her life. I love her, but I-I have to let her make her own d-decisions. Her name was E-Emma and s-she was only girl I will e-ever l-love. If you see her t-tell her I l-loved her. H-Her picture is at m-my h-hou-." Then he died in my arms.
I let a few tears drop, but I sucked it in. I got up, but stopped by a smell that made me angry. Marcus did this. I looked around to see him fighting one of the pack members. My Gun-blade appeared in my hand as I walked to him. Marcus finished the person he killed, then I started running toward him. I think he heard me coming as I lift my sword and tried to get him, but he got out of the way. "Let's end this." I said coming towards him.
"Lightning. Remember there is a way to stop this. Remember my words. Space is the living." Space is the living. What? Then it was clear. She wanted me to... I hope this works. I looked around and watch everyone fight by my side. I really do help this works. As Marcus came at me I held my sword tightly. 'I hope you know what your doing Etro.' My sword turned into a gun and I shot his sword away from his hand.
As I made it to him I yelled one word. "GATE!" It appeared behind him as my sword went into his side, but just like the dream. He had a knife ready and it went into my stomach. I pushed us into the Gate. The dagger went deeper, but the worst part is that it broke off the handle. I can feel it going even deeper as Marcus try to push me away. I felt him gasp as we were in the Gate. I pushed him away making him curse. I tried feeling the dagger, but it's in deep. I knew I was going to die, but not this way. I didn't have much energy to get it out or even heal it.
The corner of my eye I saw Marcus hiss in pain as he held his wound. The last words I heard before I black out was. "Everyone is safe."
"I thought Janet was on our side." I said confused. "Well, that was her choice. When you have a mate. You'll do anything for them. She did had a choice, but her way was the only one. Now she's gone." Star said with anger in her voice.
"Guy's come quick." I heard Brandon say. We all ran to him with Mike by my side and when I saw what he asked us to see. I was shocked. Elmo was laying in his own blood. I couldn't speak as Elmo's body lay there helplessly, not moving. I fell to my knees and I knew I was about to cry. Elmo's throat was cut with wolfbane. I turned into my wolf and howled. Everyone joined in with me as I howled. Elmo was a great person. He didn't deserve this not one person did.
'Son. I'm sorry for your friend. We will have the ones that died buried in a few days.' My father said to me. I just nodded looking at my once friend that is now dead. 'Get the pack doctor. We will have to get all these body's out of here and burn them. Expect Janet's body and her parents also Elmo's. Also some other pack members that we didn't see that died.' Dad said in all our mind links, then he got up and left to find any other bodies that died.
