Seeing that Mrs. Austin wasn't budging, Garcia anxiously stomped her foot.

Dylan and Rebecca were less than thirty feet away, and when Garcia saw Dylan look in their direction, she panicked and quickly turned, using her body to shield Mrs. Austin from view.

Her heart pounded so hard it felt like it would leap out of her throat.

Mrs. Austin gave her an impatient look. 'Garcia, what's gotten into you? You're so desperate to drag me to a fountain. Are you trying to introduce me to someone?'

'No, Ma'am, I just think the fountain is lovely and wanted to share it with you,' Garcia explained hastily, forcing a smile.

Just then, Mrs. Lee, who was standing nearby, chuckled. 'Mrs. Austin, surely Ms. Yates isn't trying to introduce you to a younger man, is she?'

Mrs. Austin didn't quite grasp Mrs. Lee's meaning, but Mrs. Reed had already started laughing.

Little did she know, a rumor had spread throughout their entire social circle that Mrs. Austin had a taste for younger men, and it had become an inside joke.
