After about 20 minutes of sitting around and gossiping, Lauren told me to go wash my hair over the tub and come back out.

Collective gasps filled the room as I re-entered with my now blow dried hair.

"Lay it looks so good!"

"You are an awesome brunette, girl. I'm jealous."

They both went on about how wonderful I look and I just stood there awkwardly. "Thanks guys."

"Everyone is gonna love this look tomorrow!!" Lauren squealed.

"Definitely!! I can't wait until Jordi sees it though." Kelsey said, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Sissy!!" A little voice bellowed from the doorway.

Looking over, I saw Ben standing in the doorway with Logan, shocked expressions on their faces.

"Yes, Bud?" I laughed.

"Your hair!" Logan said, Ben nodding in agreement.

"Do you boys like it?"

"Yes!!!" They yelled together, both running forward.

I bent down and hugged them each as they landed in my arms, giggling. Their hands went up to my wavy hair and played with some strands.

I could sense eyes looking at me and so I looked up, only to meet gazes with Jordi.

I blushed at his intense stare, lust in his eyes.

"Little Man. How about you guys go play outside? I know Tay is out there and I bet if you asked, he'll let James play with you guys."

"You mean his wolf???" Ben exclaimed excitedly.

Jordi chuckled and was cut off from responding by Logan.

"Yeah Benny. James is Tay's wolf and when I get my wolf you can play with him too. He'll love you. Just like I do!" Logan smiled.

I smiled widely at his statement. "Why don't you guys go do that?" I asked.

"Okay sissy." Ben kissed my cheek.

"Bye Sissy." Logan said, then walked out the door with Ben.

I looked over to Jordi, astonished. "He just called me Sissy."

Jordi was already smiling, walking over to me. He took me into his arms and hugged me close to his chest.

"Looks like you have a new little family member." He smiled.

"Looks like I do." I smiled and just cuddled closer into his chest.

"By the way, I love your hair babe."

"Thank you. Do you think this will work?"

"Of course."

Logan started crying. "I'm sorry! I thought they told you!"

"Hey hey, shhh. You're fine, alright? You did nothing wrong."

"He-He was taken out of class early, a-and the te-teacher said someone was here to get him."

My eyes widened and I picked Logan up, almost starting to cry myself. He cuddled into my shoulder.

I looked over at Jordi with tears in my eyes. I could tell he was thinking the same exact thing.

Marcus has him.

Logan hasn't eaten much, slept much, or moved much since two days ago, when his mate left from school and never came back.

Layla wasn't much better. She tried helping me and my trackers as best she could, but she broke down every time she tried. She was a mess.

I'm doing everything I possibly can to find my Little Man.

I have Alpha Damon visiting from his lands along with some of his trackers who have been on the rogue scent for a while now.

Right now, I just left breakfast for Layla, who is cuddled up with Logan; both having tear-stained faces and puffy, red cheeks.

It breaks my heart seeing Layla like this. She's my other half, my soul mate, my one and only. And right now, the only thing I can do for her is be there for her.

She's lost the only family she's ever known, and I'm doing everything in my power to help; but nothing's working.

"We caught a scent around the southern borders of our pack, and it looks like they're circling their way around. Yesterday we had a few patrollers catch a scent near the western border." A tracker from Damon's pack explained.
