I quickly bathed while my music was playing in the other room. Done, I wrapped my towel around my wet body and climbed out. Still in my towel, I blow dried my hair and washed my face.

When I left the bathroom, Chase was laying on the bed watching X-Men. Rolling my eyes, I noticed he shut my music off and moved my clothes so he could stretch out across the bed. I grabbed a pair of underwear and a black leopard lace bra and slipped those on. I pulled my batman hoodie over my head and my ripped jeans up to my hips. I clipped on all of my jewelry and did my make-up before tying my shoes.

Looking back over at my mate, I saw that he had fallen back asleep. I kissed his forehead and went down stairs. I made myself some bagels and green tea. I remembered that I needed my laptop for school so I ran back upstairs and grabbed my computer. Chase was up and moving so I told him I'd make him breakfast. He thanked me and slipped his shirt on.

We were on our way to school twenty minutes later, Evie and Liam in the back seat.

Getting to school, we met up with Cooper and Jayden and talked until the bell rang. Chase dropped me off at my class room and gave me a sweet kiss. All of the she wolves whimpered, probably feeling the mating radiating off of me. Feeling accomplished, I walked in and sat next to Cooper.

Lunch finally came and I walked with Jayden to the cafeteria. Evie and Cooper were already at the table and we sat with them. As soon as I pulled out my headphones, someone sat next to me and too the other ear bud. Looking at the group, they all had their canines retracted so I did the same. Growling at the guy next to me, he held his hands out in defense.

"Woah, woah! Hey I'm a good guy!" He claimed. I sniffed him.

"You're not human. You're a werewolf, but not from this part of town." I said.

"I not even from this part if the country. I'm here from Ohio. An old friend of mine said he needed my help."

"Who's your old friend and why do they need you?" I asked defensively. My eyes shifted to a pale blue and I felt (Tala) pushing at the barrier. "Who are you?" I asked.

"Woah, okay. You're getting really vicious right now and I need you to calm down." His hand laid on my shoulder. Jumping back I hit something hard. Turning around I saw Chase begin to pull me from in front of him.

"You touched what's mine. MINE!" Koda bellowed.

"Do you seriously not remember me, Chase?" The mystery guy asked. Koda took a better look at him and then Chase snapped back.

"Alex?" He asked.

"Yeah man." The guy named Alex stood up and held his hand out to shake Chase's. Instead, Chase went in for a hug.

"Man, it's been way too long. Where have you been?" He asked.

"Yes."

"That's good. Do you plan on having pups?"

"Yeah, but not now. I just turned 18 a few months ago." I assured.

"Oh okay. Hey, here comes Flynn. I'll see you later today. See ya."

We waved at him and sat down to eat. "Who was that exactly?"

"He used to live in the Umbra pack until descendants of the Fox Princess, remember from the family tree?" I nodded. "well they requested him for help with protection for an abandoned fox pup and he felt obligated to go. He left and we haven't heard from him since he left. He's actually an orphan himself. A family related to a pack member from another pack in the area took him in. The catch is that the family that adopted him is related to the fox knight that mated with the Fox Princess that produced the first ever...Lupa Alba."

I nodded and then cocked my head. "So him and I are related...by chance?"

Chase began to say something but then thought against it. "Technically, yeah. That's probably why he went straight for you. His wolf felt a pull towards you."
