Then they were beating me up.
My helpless screams were muffled by the cloth wrapped around my mouth, thus blocking sounds. I felt a powerful kick on my ribs; a strong punch on my jaw. Blood welled up in my mouth.
I don't know how long it was. Or what I was feeling. All I remember, is plunging into darkness.

"Kai! You....principal...Right...now! Found....girl...half-dying... Yes, now!"
A muscular arm scooped me up and I felt my self being carried. I blinked an eye open but the vision is too blurry and my mind was even too tired to even care right now.
I feel like I could die right now and I would be okay. I just wanna feel okay. I just wanna sleep and stop the pain.
"Miss?" a pair of warm hazel eyes stared down at me. Like an unfocused camera, all I saw were blurred lines, not able to scrutinize this mysterious man.
"Hurry up, Kai! Goddamit, she's awake! Hurry the fuck up!" he bellowed frustratedly. Returning his focus back to me, his eyes softened.
Then the shade of this stranger's eyes, looking down at me with pleadness was the last thing I remembered before darkness embraced me like an old friend again.

The sound of something dripping drip drip drip and the pain knocking off my breath from my chest caused me to jolt awake.
My head feels like it's spinning and dots swirled my sight.
"Ugh." I moaned and closed my eyes for a brief moment, steadying myself. I fluttered my eyes open again and the surroundings were...not my room.
My eyes traveled on the IV that's hooked on my arm. My breath hitched when I lifted my shirt up and fresh, humongous purple bruises were embedded on my stomach, covering nearly my entire abdomen.
A guy was peacefully sleeping in a chair across from me. His light snores filled the quietness of the room, his mouth slightly open, but thankfully not drooling. He has a disheveled light blonde hair, and jawlines on point. (Hehe.) I can already tell that this guy is even 100 more times attractive when he's awake.

"Oh, you're awake." that voice. Oh that voice that rescued me on my worse times. Butterflies---wait, no---more like the whole zoo-- erupted in my stomach.
"Hey, you're alright. I'm not going to hurt you." Worried flashed on his eyes and rushed over to my side.
