Ding!

No one scattered around or left. Their eyes were like literally glued to us. "Bye, baby. Thanks for last night. Let's do that again sometime." he smirked before jogging away.

I didn't see him today after that incident this morning.

"I can't believe Cole actually said that!" Brook said, probably the millionth time this hour. I told her everything that happened, from last night to this morning and she kicked me in the shins, the part where it sores from the soccer practice yesterday, for not telling her about it right away.

"I couldn't call you, it was like in the morning plus I was pretty tired." I explained with a duh tone.

"This morning?"

"I had to smuggle that stupid ass out of the house carefully and quietly before Paul or worse, my parents seesus."

She pouted. "Fine, you're right."

"Well, believe it, boo." I answered with anger, coming back in me.

What would people think of me now?! I spent my whole high school life trying to go unnoticed and unpopular as I can to avoid drama.

Then Cole came in to the picture.

The thought of people saying words such as "slut" and "whore" to me made my eyes prickle. I'm a virgin! I haven't even had my first kiss yet!

"People are already calling me a slut." I pressed my lips tight to keep the tears from falling.

Brook must've sensed it because her voice softened. "Hey, don't worry about it. It's not what people say that matters, it's how you respond to it, remember?" she hugged me.

"I hate him, Brook. I don't even know what I ever did to him." I pressed my face against her shoulders. "He's such an ass."

"Maybe there's a reason to why he's being such an ass to you."

"Like what?" We pulled away now from each other now.

"I've got nothin'," she shrugged.

I laughed at her attempt. "What am I going to do now, Brooks? How am I going to face everyone? Gosh, I don't even know why he did that. He took it a bit far this time. I'm going to kill him once I see him. I don't think I'll be able to control myself." I slammed my fist on the table.

"Relax." she soothed, rubbing circles on my back. "Your heart condition." she reminded me firmly.

"Right." I nodded, putting a heart on my left side as I felt pressure, but I plastered an okay-smile and lied to her.

"You okay? Do we need to go to the nurse?" she leaned forward with anxious and concern dancing in her eyes.

"Of course, I'm alright." I faked a smile and ignored the tension on my chest.
