She’d seen Charlotte’s hacking skills in action before. Honestly, if their scrambler lasted two days, that would already be impressive.
Olivia: That’s enough. In two days, I’ll fly out to the Isle of Veil. Wire me seventy million and I’ll hand it over myself.

At the hotel, Hans, Jackson, and Adonis loaded the luggage into the car themselves. After making sure they hadn’t missed anything, Hans turned to Anthony. “Everything’s taken care of. Are you feeling alright?”
Anthony wore a black trench coat, the top buttons of his shirt undone. He still looked a little pale, probably from recovering after that high fever, and there were faint traces of bloodshot in his deep eyes. Still, he seemed alert, not as bad as they’d worried.

“I can—”
He didn’t get to finish. Soft footsteps sounded behind him.
“Charlotte!” Hans called, more respectful than usual.
Anthony swallowed whatever he was about to say. He coughed weakly, putting on a show. “I’m still a bit under the weather, but it’s nothing serious.”
Hans fought to keep a straight face at Anthony’s sudden act.
“Where exactly?” Charlotte stepped closer, her fingertips pressing gently to his wrist. Her brows lifted, all cool confidence. “You really haven’t recovered.”
