The first couple of days after she started taking them, she didn’t have full-blown insomnia, but her sleep was still a mess. Honestly, being around Anthony was the best cure for her sleepless nights, but she still had over ten days of training left and couldn’t exactly crawl into his bed every night. Not that she had any self-control around Anthony, anyway.

Jackson: [Got it, Charlotte. I’ll have the lab handle it tonight and bring it to you tomorrow.]

Adonis saw the messages and frowned. Charlotte, the sleep meds were tailored for your level of insomnia. They’re supposed to get more effective the longer you use them, not the other way around. Especially since you’ve worked through your old issues and you have Anthony with you now. Things should be getting better, not worse.

If she wanted a higher dose, did that mean her insomnia was getting worse? That didn’t add up.

Adonis: [Charlotte, maybe you should get a quick check-up. It’d help figure out why your symptoms are getting worse.]

Charlotte was a doctor herself. If anything was off with her body, she’d know it before anyone else.
