The tension in the entryway was palpable.

Lily didn't want the brothers getting into a brawl, so she reluctantly acted as the peacemaker. "Maybe we should just take him with us?"

Denis whipped his head around, appalled. "Do you actually want to have fun tonight or not?"

"But if he snitches on us, we're not going anywhere."

Floyd checked his watch, his brow furrowing in irritation. "Forget it. He's coming. Let's just move."

If they wasted any more time arguing, they'd hit traffic and miss the opening acts.

Before Caleb could even celebrate his victory, Denis marched over, grabbed him by the back of his collar, and physically hauled him out the front door with terrifying ease.

"Denis, you're abusing me!"

"Put me down, Denis! I swear I'll bite you!"

Caleb screamed and thrashed like a wild animal, but Denis was a massive, heavily muscled athlete.

He carried his little brother like a sack of potatoes, easily dodging Caleb's flailing fists and kicking legs as if it were a joke.

Eventually, Floyd had enough. "That's enough. Drop him. He's giving me a headache."

Denis tossed him to the ground. Furious, Caleb immediately stomped hard on his older brother's foot.

Denis instantly pointed a menacing finger at him. "Do you want me to throw you back inside?"

"Do you want me to call Mom and Dad right now?"

The kid shot back, smugly raising his smartwatch like a loaded weapon.

Seeing the watch, Denis suddenly remembered it had a GPS tracker. He lunged forward and grabbed Caleb's wrist. "Take it off, or Mom is going to track our exact location in ten minutes."

They ruthlessly confiscated the smartwatch, tossing it to the estate manager before happily setting off into the night.

The Neo Haven Music Festival was absolutely electric. Lily and Denis were having the time of their lives, jumping and screaming the lyrics as the bass thumped through the crowd.

Floyd, being much more reserved, just stood quietly, occasionally nodding his head to the rhythm.

Meanwhile, Caleb was completely miserable. He was too short to see anything over the massive sea of bodies, essentially trapped in a suffocating wall of deafening noise.

It didn't take long for him to realize he hated this.

"Floyd, I want to go home!" he screamed over the music, yanking on his oldest brother's shirt.

Before Floyd could answer, Denis overheard and spun around, instantly annoyed. "We told you not to come! But you just had to be a brat about it! We literally just got here, and now you want to leave?!"

"You didn't tell me it was going to be like this!" Caleb yelled back defensively.

"If we told you, would you have actually stayed home?"

"Well... yeah."

In reality, Caleb had no idea, and his answer sounded incredibly weak.

He was just a kid, blindly curious and obsessed with following his older siblings everywhere.
