"What did you have in mind for tonight?" I asked him instead. We were still in the lobby, which was buzzing with families staying for the holidays.

"I just want to get one thing clear." He said to me. "I really suck at the whole dating thing." I laughed. "But I figured we could give it a try." He leaned down to kiss my forehead then the tip of my nose. "What do you say?"

It was an actual question. It was obvious that he wanted me to say yes, but there was room for no. "That's a good idea." I tilted my head up so that his lips brushed against mine. He began to add some pressure to the kiss, but we were interrupted by a little girl who threw her Barbie across the room and then began to cry. As unappealing as that whole scene was, my mind, against my will began to imagine what our kids would look like.

Dante pulled back with a smile on his face and said, "We should go somewhere else. Where do you want to go?"

"My room."

"I know I'm not good at dating, but isn't that part supposed to come afterwards?" He poked my sides.

"Yes that's supposed to come afterwards. What I meant was that I wanted to change into something other than work clothes, and these shoes are killing me."

Dante gave me a small chuckle and then followed me up to my room. He sat on the couch as I changed in the bathroom.

After I finished he looked at me with squinted eyes. "What?" I asked, wondering what was wrong. Did I forget something?

"I've never seen you in pants." He explained. "You tend to wear a lot of dresses."

I bit down on my lower lip. Dante continued to stare at me. "I like those pants." He finally decided. I was only wearing a pair of yoga pants and a blue sweater, nothing too fancy. "You have a nice butt." He observed, his face dead serious.

"You've seen it plenty of times without pants and your just realizing that now?" I joked.

He laughed and pulled me down next to him, "So, where to?" I asked.

"Are you hungry, because I am."

"I'm always hungry, babe."

We agreed to go to a pizza place a few streets down. He offered that we go to a real restaurant but I wanted something quick and pizza did sound really good at the moment. "I always thought you were the type of girl who I'd have to dump big bucks on."He said as we got inside of his shiny black Corvette which was parked in the hotel's underground garage.

Yeah, he had a really hot car too.

"No. Not yet, why?"

"You've been at the hotel for a whole week, how haven't you been to the pool?"

"I've just been busy I guess. Is it really that nice?"

"You'll just have to see for yourself."

So once we made it back to the hotel we went straight to the pool. It was big. So big that I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to reach the bottom on what was supposed to be the kiddie side. There was a jacuzzi in the corner too, with bubbles spitting out from the sides. Surrounding the pool were a bunch of white chairs and round glass tables. The roof of the pool house was glass as well, giving us a clear view of the first snow fall of the year. It was incredibly warm in this room, I was beginning to sweat.

"This is kind of nice." I admired, looking up at the sky.

"I told you you had to see it."

"Why is it empty?" I asked. "I mean, shouldn't it be filled with a bunch of little kids."
