The bathroom doors swung open, and in came security looking really pissed. A bunch of other people stood by the door including Dante. No one stopped him as he pushed his way into the bathroom.

One officer, the girl who looked like a man closed the doors kicking out all of the unwanted observers. "What is going on here?" One of the men asked. He had a booming voice that scared the living shit out of both me and Ange. We jumped. "She attacked me." I pushed out tears.

"Shut up! That's not true. She punched me! She hit me first!"

I forced out more tears. "Only because you accused me of breaking up your relationship." I was good at this fake crying. Plus, my face looked pretty beat up which helped.

"Angela." Dante said, sudden realization lighting up his face.

Oh Dante. There goes whatever we had.

"They're cousins." He told the officers. "It's just a family issue."

"Issue?" The manly woman asked. "The girl has blood pouring down her face. This is assault. Mr. Di Stefano we can't just let this slide." How did they know his name?

"So what, you're going to arrest them? This was nothing but a cat fight." Cat fight? Please.

"It's the law. Family or not they can't just get away with this."

Dante let out a big breath running his hand through his hair. "There must be something else that we could do. You can't arrest them for this."

"We can and we will." That half woman half ape was really getting on my nerves.

Apparently Dante was feeling the same way. The expression on his face was lethal. "I think it's best if we sweep this under the rug." He pulled out a hundred dollar bill. "I don't want to go through the hassle of getting a lawyer. This is a family matter that will be taken care of. I promise." He pulled out some more cash.

The lady just looked at him for a few seconds. Then her partner cut in, taking the money out of Dante's hand. "Will do. Just make sure this doesn't happen again." Dante nodded as they walked out.

I was scared that he'd see how crazy I was and would dump me right then and there. "You," He pointed to Angela. "Should probably leave now." She just looked at him in a state of shock. "I could always take back that money." He threatened.

Angela stood up almost falling over. "This is not over, Skyla." She said as she limped out of the bathroom.

He shrugged his shoulders. "How is it not? You are pretty tough, aren't you? I like that." He leaned down to my level.

"Please tell me you aren't coming on to me right now. I think she broke my ribs."

"Hmm..." He unzipped my sweater and lifted up my shirt, exposing my throbbing side. "I'm not a doctor so I can't really tell."

I frowned at him. "Then why undress me?"

"Why not?" This whole answering my questions with another question was starting to bother me.

"You know what she's going to do now, don't you? She's going to run off to the hospital, get all the doctor papers documenting all of her injuries, and then she's going to show them to everyone we know including my mom. As if I don't already have enough problems with those people. Ow!" I finally managed to stand up, but that simple movement sent a blinding pain down my body. Angela knew how to punch.

"You should lay down." Dante said, trying to steady me. "Or we can go to the hospital and beat her at her game."

"I don't want to beat her at anything. I want her to drop the whole Nick thing. Everyone needs to drop it. I don't care about him anymore. I don't even know who he is anymore, the way he came over here, and threatened me. A normal person doesn't do that." I needed to stop talking. It only made my side hurt more.
