Adrian was on the phone with Steven in his office.

Steven didn't answer. He was either busy or he simply didn't want to take his father's call.

Adrian called three times, yet there was still no response. He frowned and put his phone down. He looked at the assistant standing in front of him, instructing, "Go check Anneliese's contact info."

Adrian had just left the office earlier when he got a call from a business partner, Aspen Stewart. Aspen congratulated him and said the Malone family was about to have a happy event. He said Adrian was getting an excellent daughter-in-law.

Aspen also said the logistics algorithm contest earlier was meant to support the future daughter-in-law of the Malone family.

When the assistant went over earlier, the tech director had just gotten Anneliese's number and was about to contact her.
