At home my wolf answered for me. I had definitely found my home.
Chase and I walked up the front walk hand in hand. My head was rested against his shoulder and I struggled to keep my eyes open.
"You're so tired!" Chase laughed. I groaned back, in response. "Come on sleepyhead, let's get you to bed." He picked me up bridal style, which I didn't argue with, I only buried my head into him.
He laid me down on the bed, kissed my forehead, then turned to walk away. In my sleepy state I don't realize what I was saying until it left my mouth.
"No Chase, don't go. Stay with me again." I blushed.
"Of course Cutie." He stripped down to his boxers and climbed in next to me. I curled up into him, and fell into another peaceful nights sleep.
Over the next few days Chase and I fell into a routine. It was so natural with him. Our hands just found each other, our bodies just molded together. We hadn't placed a title on what we were exactly, but it was now known around the pack that I was his and he was mine.
The first day of school was today. The full effect washed over me when I woke up, and I almost had a nervous breakdown.
"What the hell am I supposed to wear?" I cursed to myself.
"How about what you're wearing right now?" Chase smirked walking in the door. He looked amazing with jeans and a green polo.
"How about not!" I shook my head, looking down at the short bath towel I had wrapped around me.
"You know what you're right! It would look better off." He jokingly, slowly reached his hand towards the towel. I swatted it away quickly, not liking his teasing manner. Especially at a time like this.
"Seriously! I don't know what to wear Chase! I have to make a good impression." I whined plopping down in my bed.
"Trust me baby, they'll love you!" He kissed my forehead. I slightly smiled, but tried to hide he. He still wasn't helping me!
"No one liked me at my last school, I want this time to be different. I want to be different."
"Here." He reached into my closet pulling out a pair of distressed skinny jeans and white thin strapped tank top, that flowed out.
Chase was talking to everyone, and had let his arm slip from my waist to show the guys something. The second he did I felt a hand slip down and grab my butt. I whirled around to see who it was.
I was greeted by none other than John (aka the boy who hugged me and saved my life)!
"Lordy! You scared me!" I cried.
He was cracking up, of course! "Sorry... That... Was so... Funny!!" He managed to get out between laughs.
"Not funny." I pouted. He hugged me.
"Sorry Lex." He pouted too. Stupid puppy dog face...
"Yeah. Yeah." I waved my hand at him. He hooked his arm through mine, the way middle school girls do, and started to pull me forwards to the school.
"Have you been to the office yet?" He asked reaching for my bag, to carry for me. I shook my head no, and let his have my bag. "I'll take you then." He smiled as we walked to the office.
