I hear a knock on the door, "Luna?"
"Come in," I call out. Edna walks in and smiles at me.
"Are you ready to go?" She asks, still smiling at me. I nod my head and stand up, walking towards her. Before we walk out, she grabs my arm. "The bruises, what happened?" How does she know?
"B-bruises? There are none. What are you-"
"Your waist, legs, back. I've seen them. When you fell in the shower, I took care of you considering Alpha Kaden is a gent. Saw scars too. What happened?"
"Nothing, just part of my past. Don't tell Kaden, please?"
"He's my Alpha, I can't keep secrets from him, especially where concerning his mate." I was about to plead to her not to tell him but she cuts me off by starting to speak again, "But, he won't have to find out from me. I won't say a word. After all, I never saw anything did I?"
"But-"
"Nothing, I didn't see anything. Now, shall we go shopping?" I nod my head, thanking her. She smiles in return and we head off to shop, Edna popping her head in Kaden's office to tell him we were heading out.
Edna and I had come back from shopping and we had a whole load of shopping bags. Edna even called Marco to come pick us up as we just had so many. She claimed that Kaden told her to get me everything I wanted, no matter the cost. So, she did. And boy was it a lot. I wasn't use to being spoilt like this, and I tried to lessen the amount of stuff we bought but she seemed to see through my façade when I told her I didn't want certain things. She still bought them either way. Clothes, lingerie, shoes, coats etc. Everything and anything. She even bought me books that I showed an interest in. She even bought me food as well as we shopped. Well, she bought herself food too obviously.
