Bella had sought him out because she wanted him to be a decoy, causing Jack to frown. "I don't mind helping you, but Genesis Games has been acquired, so I'm not worth ten billion dollars anymore. Your mother might not approve. Besides, don't you still have a fiancé?"

Bella pulled out her phone and added Jack's number into the device.

Jack turned on his heel, carrying a few bottles of red wine as he took his leave.

Bella nodded at him. She maintained a light smile on her face as she watched Jack until he disappeared from her line of sight. Her smile turned stiff then, eventually replaced with a despaired expression.

"Actually, I know what happened because I watched both of you through the peephole just now."

Feena took Jack's hand and murmured, "Still, I'm very happy that you told me."

She walked over to the wine cabinet and pulled out two glasses. She gave them a quick rinse before pouring the wine into both glasses. She then pulled Jack with her to the balcony so they could enjoy the scenery together.

"Darling, let's have a toast!" Feena exclaimed, raising her glass.

Jack clinked his glass with hers and was about to have a sip when Feena yelled, "Wait!"

He looked at her in confusion. She extended her arm and looped it around his before saying, "Let's drink from each other's glasses, okay? Once we do that, I'll be yours!"

Gazing into Feena's big and shimmering eyes, Jack felt his heart throb. He nodded in agreement.
