"There is nothing wrong with taking care of your hair!" Jacob argued after me.

We all walked to the cars. Geena grabbed my arm and forced me into her car with the twins before any protests could be made. We were already driving down the road before Logan was even in his car. I chuckled but didn't say anything about it.

"So, what are we going to do after school today?" Hannah asked as we continued the drive to school.

"Dunno, what do guys want to do?" Micah piped up.

"We could do anything, it doesn't really matter to me. We could go to the mall or something," Geena said with a shrug as she watched the road.

"I need a new sweater since someone," Hannah started as she glared at her sister, "decided to get chocolate all over it."

"Mall it is then," Geena stated.

"Eh, count me out, shopping isn't my thing. I was planning on going it my apartment anyway," I said while looking out the window.

"Max, c'mon. You can't avoid shopping forever," Geena said.

"Watch me," I replied.

"Ugh, you don't have a choice, you're going with us if you like it or not," she stated as she parked the car in the school parking lot.

I was out of the car before it fully stopped and was making my way to the front door. I heard the girls get out and start walking be hind me.

"Max, don't think you can get of this!" Geena yelled.

"Sorry, I can't hear you over all the horny teenagers!" I yelled back over my shoulder.

The day continued slowly, but wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. I met up with Logan, who didn't seem too happy with me for driving to school with Geena instead of him. He'll get over it.

We were all walking to lunch now. Yes. Only two hours left of this place. Sitting down at our usual table I realized that these people basically became my own family in the matter of days of me being here. It was still hard for me to process all of it, but I was slowly getting used to it and was starting to like it.

"School couldn't get more booooooring," Jacob groaned.

"You just say that because none of the teachers like you so you can never do anything," Kyle said from besides him.

"No. You have no right to treat her like the way you are," I said fiercely.

"Oh, 'the right.'" He thought this was amusing. "Move out of my way or I'll make you."

"That's cute, I think you just threatened me." I smirked.

He stepped forward to get me to move but before he could do anything I grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his back and pushed him to the floor. I had his arm in a painful grip, almost to the breaking point. I had my knee on his back to hold him down.

"Never underestimate a girl," I seethed to him, he was breathing heavily from anger and pain.

"Get... off of... me!" he yelled.

"I'm pretty comfortable where I am, how about you?" I asked him rhetorically.

That just made him growl and to fight off my grip more roughly than before, but no luck. I twisted his hand a little bit more to make it hurt more than it already did. I heard a snap and him crying out.

"Oops, too far I guess," I said simply and stood up from my crouched position.
