I look at the bloodied, limp figure in front of me. I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger to the gun. The loud shot went off, hitting the person in the head and they slumped to the ground with blood pooling around their head. I dropped the gun to me feet, I started at the dead man before me, lifeless... dead. I just killed a man. This man had a family and a life and I took that away from him...

I sank to the floor and continued to stare at the limp body of the man I just killed. My kidnapper patted me on the shoulder, as if showing pride of what I just did, and started to leave, but stopped to say something.

"You live another day, my little killer, but you may not get to tell the tale."

But I did, though I never did tell the tale.

I woke up screaming at the memory. I thrashed around in the bed but I couldn't move, I was trapped by something, something was holding me down.

My breathing were short forced gasps and I tried everything to regulate it but nothing. I was being held down. I was trapped. Trapped again. This can't be happening again. Nothing was helping, I was only making it worse.

The hold around me loosened and then completely vanished. I was staring at the dark ceiling and then a face appeared above mine. First thinking it was my kidnapper I screamed out, but then noticed the golden eyes telling me it obviously was him. I saw his lips moving but i heard nothing. Then it started to come through to me.

"Max, you got to breathe. Deep breaths! Look at me and breathe!" a voice that was so familiar yelled to me taking my face in his hands.

It didn't help, I was still hyperventilating and my eyes started to water now and black dots appeared. I didn't want to pass out again. That's when the man gripped my face tighter and brought his lips down to mine and the great sensation of warmth spread through me in a calming effect. It help... that has never happened before. My breathing became normal for the most part.

That's when I finally registered the man as Logan. He was still holding my face and his golden eyes were wide. He was obviously worried but he didn't know what to do what sit there and wait for me to come back.

Even when Logan thought I told him everything, I still kept shit to myself. I still kept secrets of my past from him. I was so ashamed of myself.

"L-Logan," I stuttered his name as I buried my face in the crook of his neck.

"Shh, it's okay, you're okay," he replies calmly.

"Yeah?" she whispered.

"I'm going to the kitchen, come down there when you're done please," I murmured through the door in an almost pleading voice.

I heard her say "okay," so I left our room and went down to the kitchen. I was glad I was met with everyone there, including my mom. Jacob and Geena were now sitting pretty close to each other now, but this was not the time to tease them. Macey was there but she was coloring with Lana so they weren't paying attention to any of us.

I walked over to the island in the middle of the kitchen and flopped down on one of the barstools and rubbed my hands over my face. I waited for the onslaught of questions.

"Is Max okay? We heard her scream and were about to go up there when, but then it stopped," Geena exclaimed.

"I don't know anymore," I started, "When we were at Alpha James' there was a rogue attack and Max being max went to help and was put at one of the safe rooms to protect, there were supposed to be a few more pack warriors down there to help but they never came so she was by herself. She had to fight off quite a few rogues and took them all down and got wounded pretty bad in the process. She blacked out there obviously and when she woke up here she wasn't the same."
