Logan didn't respond for awhile, and I was slowly losing hope. Was he seriously going to let me go back to the fight club? Or was he just choosing to ignore me? Well, either way, if he doesn't give me an answer, I'm going to be fighting at the end of it.
"I will train with you tomorrow, only if you don't wake up screaming," Logan stated.
I smiled. A genuine smile, for the first time in weeks.
I looked up to Logan and he smiled too.
Next thing I know he is straddling me with my arms pinned above my head. I stare at him with shock, what just happened?
Logan grinned and leaned down to where is breath was fanning my ear.
"Don't expect me to go easy on you," he stated and released my arms.
"I wouldn't have it any other way," I whispered back with a smiled as brought my hands to his face and kissed him desperately.
Things got heated quickly, like quickly. I wanted him. I needed him.
"We shouldn't do this is the living room," I stated breathlessly.
With that Logan picked me up and all but ran to our room. Literally seconds later I was thrown onto our bed and I laughed as I bounced. Logan was on top of me before I knew it.
Logan ripped my shirt from my body and held his hands on my bare hips. Logan trailed small kisses down my jaw, then my neck. I moaned loudly and I felt him smile against my skin. I tilted my head to the side to expose it more. I heard Logan growl and his teeth graze my skin.
"Mark me," I moaned out.
Right when I said that Logan pulled away from me and sat next to me. His eyes were wide with shook.
"Max... are you sure? I wouldn't want to do it if you aren't ready," he started saying rather quickly, "You haven't been yourself lastly and I wouldn't want to be taking advantage..."
I didn't let him finish what he was saying. I grabbed his face and pulled to mine where I forcefully kissed him.
"Then don't stop," I whispered.
And that all that took.
Max's POV-
For the first time in weeks I didn't wake up screaming. It's been so long since I had a night without nightmares and memories. Being in the embrace of my loving mate's arms is something that is another amazing sensation I'll never get used to.
I flipped my position so I was facing Logan, it was so nice seeing him looking so relaxed. I haven't seen him like this is so long. He's has been constantly hovering over me and worrying and making sure I was okay, I feel horrible. I shouldn't have gone that far, Grant is dead, I killed him. I don't have to worry anymore. Everything is going to go in the right direction now, for the first time in my life.
Bringing my hand up, I trace my fingers lightly across Logan's chest. He shuddered at my touch, which made me smile. His arms around my waist tighten. I kissed his jaw and wiggled my way out of his arms and made my way over to the bathroom.
I turn the shower on and hop in letting the water rain down over my body. The scenes of last night replaying in my mind. I smiled and tilted my head back into the water. It couldn't have been better. All those hours...
