"Wow, is that your way of getting out of being beat up by me?" I questioned as we walked to a clearing in the woods.
"Maybe..." Logan mumbled.
"Either way, I'm fine by it because Jacob thinks he is tougher then me, so taking him on is going to me fun," I smiled evilly to myself.
We got to the clearing where about 16 13-14 year old's were standing in a line. Jacob no where in sight. Wow, great instructor you are, not. Logan and I went and stood off to the side by the end of line of kids. I waited for Jacob to come and see how he handles things.
Jacob finally graced us with his presence and stood in the middle of the clearing with two other guys.
"Hey, sorry I'm late, but we are just going to go over the things we went through in the past week, so partner up and get started," Jacob said clapping his hands together.
"Hey, Jacob! I don't have a partner, would you mind?" I called over to him.
He turned and looked at me. He sighed and waved his hand for me to go over to him.
"Why are you here?" he asked.
"'Why are you here?'" I mocked him as I stood in front of him. "I know how much you think that you are tougher then me and can take me down, but I still have yet to see that," I smirked at him.
"We both know I am the better fighter of the two of us. Save us the trouble and go away," Jacob said shooing me away with his hand.
I was about to deck him right then and there, but I'll save that for later.
"So, what I'm hearing is, you are stronger and fight better then me. Lets see if that's true," I stated standing in front of him.
"Max-" he started to say.
"I challenge you to a fight," I commanded and readied myself in front of him
"Fine! Geez, you are going to regret doing this," Jacob sighed getting ready.
"Actually, we are going to regret doubting me," I smirk. "And I thought you've seen me fight before. Forget about that one time not that long ago, or is your brain to small to remember such an event?"
I throw a punch right to his face after saying that, catching him off guard. I smiled and wait for him to make the next move. He tried to punch me back but I caught his fist and brought him closer to me. I kneed him in the stomach and released his fist. I roundhouse kicked him in the side, sending him to the ground.
I walked back over to Logan and we walked back to the house. I need to do that more, I forgot the thrill of fighting and beating someone, even though this fight was abnormally shorter timed than any of my past fights.
"Better" Logan asked.
"Much," I smiled.
Micah's POV-
I have been a nervous wreck for the past few days, and also avoiding going outside. I'm scared. My wolf is mad at me, too. Why you ask?
Well, I saw my mate, but they did not see me. So I know who my mate is, but I am scare to go to them, fearing rejection. I know I might not have to worry about anything, but there is always that fear that they won't except me.
Max hasn't been okay at all lately and I've been staying around to help her out with the others so I had an excuse to stay inside and avoid other people, but now that Max is getting better and doesn't really need our constant hovering anymore, I've been having a hard time.
Hannah and Geena are starting to worry and question to why I won't go out with them to have fun. Max is starting to see through my lies, which is starting to scare me even more. The guys know, and are questioning to, but thankfully are giving me my space, for the most part.
I walk into the kitchen where my sister and best friends are having a deep discussion about something. When they noticed me, they immediately stop talking and look at my questioningly. I just look at them with a confused look, even though they were obviously talking about me.
