"Rachael will freak out", Gabriel inputted.

I looked at the Lorenzo guy and he keeps looking at me in a less creepy way possible, it was as if he was looking into my soul.

Our eyes met and I stare into his cold green eyes, I looked away.

"Let's have a chat Lala", Lorenzo said to Mils looking at his wristwatch.

"I gave him a choice already, all he has to do is make a decision and we are all good", Mils replied to him, standing here ground.

"Is it that bad?", Michael asked.

"Guess, he didn't tell his friends then", Ava whispered.

"His witch got me removed from the Marshall deal, just because I asked for a day with my brother while he was with her", Mils shouted with tears in her eyes.

"WHAT!"

"WHEN!"

"THAT'S DUMB".

The three boys said in horror.

"Please, let it not be that Marshall deal", Michael said quietly.

"It's that one", Ava answered him.

"Let me guess, Raf didn't tell her down", Lorenzo said with no emotions in his voice.

Mils nods trying to keep the tears from flowing from her eyes but the sniffs could be heard.

"Lala I will get you the deal back just don't cry", Lorenzo said looking uncomfortable and bored.

"Diamond spoke to her mom about it and am back on board", Mils responded smiling at me.

I smiled back towards her.

"Perks of having the Marshall daughter as a friend, thank you Diamond", Gabriel said looking at me with a smirk on his face.

"You mean the adopted daughter of the Marshall", Lorenzo said looking angry.

The tiny smile on my face disappears, my insecurities sets in and I can feel anxiety level increase.

"REN, you don't have to be rude", Mils shouted.

"That's the truth Lala", He fires back at her.

"Get out of my Art room this minute Lorenzo", Ava said standing up from her seat.

"I definitely will seem none of you wants to learn the truth", Lorenzo replied walking towards the door.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, man?", Michael asked him.

"Lala, let's go home?", He called out to Mils.

"Don't you dare, have been staying with Diamond ever since I left home and if you think I am going to leave with you then you are delusional", She answered him.

"You are picking this orphan over me, have it your way then", Lorenzo said to her and walks out of the room.

Hoping and praying the ground will just open and swallow me whole to save me from the pain and hurt of his words threatening to come out in form of tears.

The fear of having an anxiety attack after what just happened was another thing I was scared about. Although, I have been called worst and treated in the worse way. I don't know why it hurt so much coming from Lorenzo maybe because he's just meeting me for the first time and he knows nothing about me, or because I expected something different from him based on what I heard about him.

The über driver parks in front of the gate, waiting for the gate to be opened.

'This is the Marshall residence; how may I help you?" I heard Lawrence ask.

"It's Diamond, Lawrence", I answered.

"Miss Marshall, why are you in a cab and what happened to Rico?" He asked buzzing us in.

We stepped out of the cab which was now parked in front of the fountain with Nanny, Lawrence and Rico waiting in front of the house.

"Your trip cost 15$ mam", the über driver said to me.

Pulling out a 100$ bill from my purse, l gave it to him.

"Please, keep the change and thank you for the ride", I said to him.

"Thanks mam", He responded and drives off.

"Mija, why didn't you wait for Rico to pick you up?", Nanny asked me, when I got to the door.

"Was excited to get home and start packing for the weekend", I said to her with a grin.

"I know you will be, let's get your things packed", Nanny replied smiling.

I looked at Mils who seems to be in a deep thought.

"Are you alright Mils", I asked her while we walk up the stairs.

"Am fine I was just thinking about the statement made by Lorenzo. Am trying to understand why he will utter such words to you", She answered

"He might have his reasons, Mils don't sweat it", I replied.
