West Prestigious High is Cole and Emma's school, what shooting happened there and when did this happen, why did Mom tell Lorenzo not to let me know and what are they all hiding from me? "Diamond's friends attends West Prestigious and I heard them say one of her friends was shot also" Kim answered her. I sat on the floor immediately and the only thing that I could hear was "one of her friends was shot also", why was mom keeping it a secret from me? Which of them? I sobbed loudly and was shaking with my heart beating as fast and loud as possible. I noticed the presence of people in front of me looking up I found Kim and Isabelle looking at me with smiles on their lips "Guess, we were too loud Kimberly" Isabelle taunted "Now, I wonder which of the friend though. I heard them say Emma but it might be Cole you know" Kim responded wearing a proud smirk on her lips.

I ran back to my room, picked up my phone again to call them both numbers weren't reachable I couldn't call my parents because they lied to me and I couldn't go to my friends because they didn't inform me, I don't know who to trust looking at Justin where he lay he might also know about it. I wanted to scream but I didn't want anyone knowing I found out already, so I did the only logically thing picked up my laptop and booked a ticket to Florida and I was lucky because it will be leaving by 19:00, the distance from the Island to the airport is around 50minutes.

That heart is not beating any more

The eyes are at peace

There is nothing to worry about

As all the things have ceased

Looking at the time it read 17:59 I stood up from the floor and wipe my tears, "my flight leaves for 19:00 Justin I have to leave the Villa to the airport" I said to Justin picking up my backpack and pulling my luggage with me, "You don't think am going to let you go alone now. do you? Wait for me to pack a luggage and backpack also and please book a ticket for me also" He ran out of my room while I take my seat on the bed pull out my laptop and book one extra first class ticket for him also. Checking my wallet, I still had close to 3500$ plus the 2000$ dad gave to me we might still need extra cash for hotel rooms and I don't know if Justin will have cash with him we can't risk using credit card because of our parents.

I remembered mom telling me she kept extra cash for me in my room, I went into my closet to check my drawers and shelves and luckily, I found a closed drawer behind my jewelry shelf. Opening it, I found a stack of 100S bills and two stack of $50 bills and a note from Mom saying I spend all, I picked the stacks and closed the drawer getting out of the closet I met Justin who was dressed and ready to go. "I found $20000 in my closet and a note from your mom" he explained to me "same here" I showed him the cash with me, "I had $4000 with me before plus this, guess we won't be needing our credit card after all let's go" he said with a sad smile pulling his luggage with him while I followed him.

"Where are the others?" I asked scared of been found, "they are on the main island with other students" Justin answered me. we boarded a boat from the island to the high road from there we took a cab to the airport. We got to the airport around 18:45 and we boarded the flight to Florida after our check in. "You don't have to come with me you know, right?" I said to Justin who was seated beside me " I want to come with you and you are not pushing me away" He responded giving my held hand a squeeze.

"Do you know where they stay?" Justin asked after some minutes, "Cole stays around Pine Crest and I have his home address" I responded to him feeling all nervous, "So, we are going to Pine Crest from the airport or we are going to stay in a hotel for the night then we go there tomorrow" He said to me "I want to see him tonight please" I said to him with tears in my eyes "If that's what you want" He replied.

We arrived in Florida around 21:45, I see why Cole likes this place and talk about it non-stop getting a cab to Pine Crest my nervousness spikes and Justin was there to hold me till the cab pulled up in a mansion, after paying him I pressed the buzzer and waited for a response. "Good evening and welcome to the Black residence, how may I help you?" A voice is heard from the box in front of us, "Good evening, my name is Diamond Marshall and here to see Cole Black please" I responded. "Good evening Miss Marshall, young master Black isn't around now but the Butler he's on his way to pick you up. Is there anything you want us to arrange for you before you come in?" The voice asked again, "Nothing, thank you" I said immediately.
