Alana novel Chapter 10

Summary for Chapter 10: Alana

Chapter overview: Chapter 10 from Alana

In this standout chapter of the Internet novel Alana, Z Cr4vinz introduces new challenges, powerful emotions, and major plot progress that captivate readers from beginning to end.

So far I've made close to 0 progress in winning Alana over, much less finding out who did that to her.

She's been quiet and not snappy. Plus she's brought home some mutt that she's giving all the attention!

Clawing at the punching bag, I don't even realize that my claws had come out.

Sighing, I slump down, body glistening with sweat.

I sat in my gym/basement panting when the door slowly creaked open.

I looked up ready to growl at anyone who chose to disturb me, but I slowly turn quiet when I realized it was Alana.

"Hi." She murmured stepping in.

"Well look who it-"

"Don't get stupid before I leave." She snaps and I shut my mouth.

She must be feeling better.

"I just don't want you to feel any pain or suffering since we haven't been in contact for like a whole day." I raise an eyebrow at her. I won't feel pain unless it's been three days but I'm not complaining. If the lady wants to touch me, her wish is my command.

"Oh." Is all I say, kinda wary.

She looks at me expectantly and I guess she's waiting for me to make the first move.

This is awkward. And I'm sweaty.

"Y'know, maybe I should shower first." She lets out an exasperated sigh before nodding and walking out.

This girl is a lot of work I tell you.

Alana's POV

I miss how he feels.

Is that weird?

I'm not even a werewolf but it's like I just need to be near him.

But no, he wants to take a shower.

Grunting for like the fifth time, I grumpily watch my hairy baby sleep.

He's been a really happy pup, always jumping around and protecting me.

He doesn't like Leo very much though...

"What is that?" Leo asks his eyes wide.

"A dinosaur." I deadpan rolling my eyes and walking upstairs.

"Why is it here?"

"Because I want it to be."

"No, no, no. I am not sharing-"

As if it understands what Leo is saying, he jumps off me and runs towards Leo growling adorably. Clamping its tiny jaw around Leos's toe, it bites down.

"Alana!" Leo yells. "Get it off! Get it off!"

"Cmere apple."

It stops, looks at me, turns around, lifts its leg and pees all over Leo's feet.

I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't notice my enemies draw closer to me.

Reid stood in front of me smiling and the rest followed.

"Those bruises are healing nicely, did you order a new set?" James speaks up lamely and Reid turns around and glares at him.

"Hi there Alana." Reid comes closer and I hug myself, clamping my eyes shut. "What's wrong?"

He grips a strand of my hair and pulls lightly and I clamp my eyes tighter, knowing what was coming.

"Are you deaf?!" He suddenly screams and I jump hugging myself even more. "Disgusting."

He releases my hair and a hard hand collides with my cheek but I don't have time to think as another one grabs my arm and pulls me onto the floor.

Gasping as my back hits the ground hard, a fist makes contact with my face, rather nose and I honestly feel a certain heat, only there as the blood races to come out.

And then there were tears. This time they didn't take time, they came out in sobs. Hard sobs.

"Ew." Tyron grunts kicking me and I grab hold of my stomach, heaving while one grabbed my hair and pulls me so that I'm on my knees.

"Open your eyes," Reid growls and I do as I'm told.

His hand clamps around my neck and squeezes hard.

"We don't want you here. You should know. If you die, no one would care. No one would notice. You have no one, you're revolting and you're colored I think its better if we get rid of you right now and make the world a better place."

More tears pour but I could no longer sob, as I no longer had any air in my lungs. I felt the world slipping as he allowed more pressure and I decided not to fight back because he was right.

I am revolting.

Finally losing breath, a piercing growl is heard and they release me hastily and turn around to meet the culprit.

Gasping once again for air, my chest hurts and I can only sob as all the walls I have ever built, all the motivational talk I gave myself in front on a mirror while staring at a broken girl, everything came crashing down and in the end, that broken girl grabbed her bag and ran away.
