Alana's POV
We got to the club with Aiden's hand on the small of my back. It all was all packed for a new club, French music playing through.
Sweat rubbed against me and Aiden was smirking at me knowingly.
He pulls me closer to him and I sigh.
"Drinks?" I lady suddenly appears and I kindly take one as Aiden decline.
"I've never seen you drink alcohol before," I shout over the music and he shrugs.
"I don't like it. Plus I'm watching you tonight." He winks and I smile, averting my eyes to look back at the club.
We slipped into a booth, my legs were over Aiden's and he sat just staring at me.
"What?"
"You're just so beautiful..."He murmurs and I blush.
"Thank you..."
"What can I say, except your welcome. I'm just an ordinary demigod! You're welcome! You're welcome!" He sings loudly and I throw my head back.
He grins at me, his hands skimming over my thighs before he leans forward. I place my drink down and move forward also, and our lips connect. He pulls me so that I'm sitting on his lap and I run my hands through his curls. He moves from my hand to my neck, while playing with the fabric of my dress.
"Alana?" I turn my head...
"Dustin? Oh my gosh." I quickly move out of the booth and pull him into me. "I thought you were dead!"
He shakes his head, offering a small smile.
"Let's go outside. Babe, I'll be right back." He gives me a flat look before crossing his arms stubbornly and I giggle.
I'll deal with that later.
Outside, the music was slightly dimmer.
"What're you doing here? In Paris?"
"I came here looking for you...you're married now?" I smile down at my ring.
"Yea. Who told you?"
"I stopped at the pastry shop to visit you. I'm sorry, I just couldn't do it."
I frown, "it's okay...it's a lot to go up against an alpha."
"Thanks. You understand...gosh, you're amazing." He says taking a step forward and I take a step back.
"Um, it's no big deal. I just know how intimidating Leo can be." He captures my hand.
"You know...if you weren't married." Suddenly I'm pushed against the wall, I gasp as the wind in my lungs suddenly escapes. "I'd have you."
"Dustin. Put me down before I do something I don't want to do."
"Don't be ungrateful." Click. A knife was held directly at my neck and I took a deep breath. "I'm the one who warned you."
"But you did do crap. You're a coward." I spat and he tilts his head.
"You're so pretty-omph." I watch with wide eyes as Dustin falls to the ground and I'm pulled into a hard chest. "It's always been you Alana! Don't you see how I would look at you at the pastry shop? Even at the packhouse. My eyes were always on you."
"Piss off." Aiden snaps angrily, and when Aiden is angry. It's not a good sight.
"Oh don't be a freaking hypocrite. Did you not hear when I was screaming your name while you were beating my friend to death in the parking lot?"
"Well, your friend had a knife to your neck. Some companion he is." Aiden says walking off and I roll my eyes, sitting on the stool with my head on the lip of the counter.
It rakes a moment for me to get up and walk into the room, taking off my clothes.
Aiden was in the bathroom so I pulled on simple grey sweatpants with a white camisole, I put on socks and slide to the living room grabbing my phone.
I had three text messages.
I can't wait to see you, dear. -unknown
I can't believe you're married - unknown.
Call me.- unknown.
I furrow my brows and surprisingly, instead of calling the number...I go to Aiden, I found him in the bedroom, laying on the bed with the covers over his head.
"Aiden..." I don't call him any pet names because frankly, I'm still pissed at him.
He peeks through the comforter and I sit on the floor handing him my phone.
He reads, and his eyes go wide. He quickly does something before giving it back to me.
I was about to stand when he grabs my hands.
"I don't want to fight with you. Not here, not now." He murmurs, sitting up and pulling me to standing in front of him. "I'm sorry, I should've listened to you. I should've just ignored him but you're going to have to accept that that's just how I am. You know I'm protective when it comes to you, you know I never meant to get you with my elbow. I feel freaking terrible because of that. I'm sorry baby." He leans his head against my stomach and I sigh, playing with his hair.
"It's alright...it didn't even hurt." He chuckles laying down to pull me onto him and I smile, laying on his chest soundly.
And that's how we fall asleep.
