Avoiding The Gang Leader novel Chapter 9

"Baby stop crying let me explain. "Leo whispered and wipe my face.

He use his thumb to remove my bottom lip from between my teeth before pulling me into his lap.

"I said I was gonna leave. I don't live here. "Leo chuckled. He laid down and pulled me on top of him again.

"But you don't want to be with me."

"I do,I want you Micah believe me you just have to understand that I can't... just for a little while."

I nod slowly . I kind of understood why he said not now but I kind of didn't have a clue what he was talking about if that made sense 

Leo smile that breathtaking smile and brought his lips to mine. I could taste the alcohol in his mouth from his drink but that didn't bother me. Leo's kisses were amazing 

The ringing of a cell phone broke us apart and he groan before taking up his phone and answering it. I got up and went to my drawer getting dressed in a pajama pants only. Today was Saturday and I had no class but work at 2 pm

"Get the fuck off my phone and deal with it!"Leo shouted. He throw his phone down out of anger and sat on the bed 

"You're disrespectful. "I mumbled

"I know."

"You shouldn't be so rude to your friends. "I roll my eyes.

Leo shrug not really caring.

"If I don't order them around what kind of boss am I?"

"You-"

"Shut up. "He sighed 

"Make me. "I challenge with a glare

A evil smirk appeared on him lips and he moved closer to me licking his lips as his eyes fill with lust.

Oh shit

Leo dropped me off at work saying he'll be just down the street dealing with 'business'

I was on my way to deliver some flower pots before I take my lunch break when I saw Anthony

"Hey Anthony. "I smiled as he rush to me

"Hi Micah I'm so sorry I couldn't make it yesterday my boss wanted me to do a double shift yesterday all of a sudden and I wasnt allowed to use my phone. "He sighed looking sad

"Its okay I was a little busy too. "I smiled

I continue to lick my Popsicle while  glaring at him as he washes his hands and face

"What if someone saw you and called the police. "I sighed

"No one saw me Micah. "Once he was finish he wrapped his arms around me and kiss the top of my head. I blush and push him away

"I saw you with that guy today. "He mumbled

"We just had lunch together,nothing too deep. "I shook my head

"To me,it's deep. "Leo huff and walked past me pushing me out of the way a little

"Calm down Leo we're friends."

"Mhmm. " Was all Leo said and sat down on the couch.

I know he was upset that I went out with Anthony even if we we're just friends . I threw the small stick away and lowered my self in his lap and rested my head on his shoulder and kiss his neck. This is the first time I'm doing something like this but it was to calm him down I dont like seeing Leo upset 

Leo chuckled and laid down on the couch pulling me down with him. We stayed their in silence enjoying each other's presence and drift off to sleep.

Finally its summer and I can put school on pause. I did my last exam yesterday and I practically ran out the building. Now I can spend more time with my Aunt, visit my family and go out with Destiny and Anthony.

Anthony understood that I only liked him as a friend and didn't push it, now we're good friends and have lunch together a lot .
