I looked at him curiously, waiting for him to continue.

"You're Rosiane Wilson, daughter of Jacob Wilson and from Redmoon pack. Correct?" He asked.

I nodded my head, not knowing where this was heading.

"Well, I'm aware of how your father has mistreated you, along with a few others" he explained, slowly as if waiting for my reaction.

I furrowed my eyebrows, wondering how he knew about the abuse.

"We were informed by someone who witnessed your father mistreating you. So when I heard of this, I went to the werewolf council and informed them of the poor leading of the Alpha and mistreatment within the pack. They told me to come back with more evidence before they could take action so that's what I did"

"There's another pack who knew about the mistreatment and have been trying to find a way to stop it so we teamed up together. I got in contact with the witness from your old pack and what they told me was worse then I expected" he said, while shaking his head, his eyes on the ceiling.

"They had informed me, not only on your state at that time but also the things they discovered and I didn't realise it was that bad. When they had told me what the Beta was doing-" he paused, clenching his fists.

I felt Noah tense beside me so I looked up and noticed his eyes darkened as he glared at the wall.

I cupped his face in my hands and caressed his cheeks with my thumbs soothingly knowing it would help calm him down.

His eyes met my gaze and softened. I smiled at him and thankfully he smiled back, now calmer.

I intertwined our fingers and turned back to his father who was now holding his mates hand as she calmed him down.

"After being told that information, I knew we had to get you out as fast as possible" he continued after calming down.

"We were thinking of a plan to get you out of there when we were informed about a rogue attack at the pack and you had gone missing. I was at the pack discussing with the Alpha and Luna when Madeline informed me that you were at our pack but she failed to mention how you were mated to our son" he explained, glancing at Maddie who was smiling innocently at him.

"So now that you're here, I was hoping you'd testify to the council about how your old pack treated you and get the justice you deserve" he said to me.

I dropped my gaze to Noah and I's hands, thinking about it.

After a few seconds of deliberation I looked up, meeting his father's gaze and nodded my head.

"Was that why you wanted to know more about Rosiane when you found out she was my mate?" Noah asked his mother. She nodded in reply, scratching her nose.

Henry smiled at me and stood up.

"Well then, I'll inform the council and make an appointment" he said and left the room, Madeline following behind after bidding goodbye.

I made us breakfast this morning and we're now sitting in the living room, talking to each other with the distant sound of the television in the background.

"Better in than out more like" I replied in disgust.

"That hurts" he pouted.

I giggled and shoved his shoulder in a playful manner. He laughed with me and turned around on the couch, his back now resting against the armrest and his legs resting across my lap.

"So how've you been?" He asked.

"Good, besides the visit from my father and Beta James, everything's been good" I shrugged and smiled at him but shuddered as I mentioned my father and the Beta.

"I really wish we could've killed those bastards" he spat angrily as he glared at his hands that were resting on his lap.

"Don't worry about it. I've put up with them for years, I'm used to it" I replied sadly as I shrugged.

"But you shouldn't be used to it! You shouldn't have gone through it!" He shouted angrily. I sighed and rested my hand on top of his, and looked into his angry gaze.
