"So the people I've called parents my whole life aren't my actual parents!?" I asked.

She nodded her head in reply as she nervously fiddled with her fingers.

"Who's my real father?" I asked quietly.

She sighed sadly, gazing off into the distance with a longing look in her eyes.

"Sebastian Grey, King of Vampires" she whispered softly.

"King of Vampires!" I exclaimed.

She nodded her head and smiled up at the sky.

"How do you have a mate? I mean, you're the Moon Goddess and you decide who is mates with who so how did you get one?" I asked curiously.

"There have been other Moon Goddesses before me dear. The one before me set Sebastian and I up" she shrugged.

"Is my father still alive?" I asked.

"He is and he isn't too far away from where you live. Don't worry you'll meet him soon, when the time is right." she replied with a small smile.

"Is it ok if I ask more questions? I know I've asked many already but I just want to get a clear view on the situation?" I asked, hesitantly.

"Go right ahead dear, ask as many as you'd like" she smiled softly at me, as she stared at me lovingly.

"Did you know how I was treated in my old pack?" I asked.

Sadness and regret flashed on her face as she frowned.

"I was aware but I couldn't do anything about it. I tried everything in my power to help but there was only so much I could do. After you would go asleep I would help heal your wounds, I watched over you everyday. I'm so sorry you had to go through that sweetheart" she cried, tears flowed down her face as she looked at me.

I frowned and reached over, wrapping my arms around her neck as she wrapped hers around my waist and cried into my shoulder.

"It's ok, I don't blame you for anything" I told her softly. She pulled away and kissed my forehead.

"You've become such a strong and beautiful women darling, I couldn't be prouder" she smiled, her eyes still watery but held happiness as well as sadness.

"I'm sure you've noticed that your wolf isn't just any normal wolf?" She asked me.

I nodded as rested my head against her shoulder once I settled beside her.

"Tala is a special wolf that possesses certain powers, all of which you will have to learn to control once you've discovered them" she explained.

"So is that what caused the glass to stop falling when I dropped it? My powers?" I asked and she nodded.

"But I must warn you dear, you have these powers for a reason and will need them in the future, so try and master them as best and as fast as you can" she told me sternly but still held a softness in her voice as she spoke.

"I'll try my best" I replied.

She nodded her head in reply, looking up towards the sky.

"I better let you go, your mate is very worried about you" she sighed, turning to face me.

He closed his mouth and took a breath.

"You're telling me that you met the Moon Goddess and she's also your mother?" He asked slowly. I nodded my head and watched his face closely.

"Wow"

I looked up at him as he stared at the wall behind me, most likely trying to process what I told him.

"There's more" I told him.

"There's more?" He gaped. I nodded and began telling him the rest.

My father, how Tala was a special wolf and the powers we had.

"I'll help you" he said, smiling at me. I pecked his cheek and went to stand up from the bed.

"Where do you think your going?" He asked.

"To get food?" I said but it sounded more like a question.

He stood there, thinking, before picking me up and carrying me downstairs.

"I can walk you know" I huffed as I crossed my arms over my chest and glared up at him.

"I know" he smiled and kissed my forehead.
