I was currently getting a piggy back from my brother as we walked towards the pack house for dinner.

"Hey guys" I greeted as we entered the house. Zander gently let me down and went to find his mate. Noah squeezed through the crowd and made his way to me.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and twirled me around. I giggled as I wrapped my arms around him to return the hug.

"I missed you" he frowned into my neck as his hold tightened around my waist.

"I missed you too" I whispered in his ear.

"What did you do all day?" He asked as we walked hand in hand towards the dining room.

"Trained with Zander. I found out two new powers" I smiled.

He nodded and pulled my chair out for me to sit. I sat down and he sat beside me. I looked around the dining room to see all the warriors interacting with the vampires.

The food was brought out and we all dug in, talking amongst one another throughout the meal.

"Thank you all for you hard work in preparation for the upcoming attack, warriors" Noah announced as we both stood at the head on the table. They all bowed their heads in respect before looking up again and smiling at us.

"It's our honour Alpha and Luna" they all replied simultaneously.

Noah and I nodded before taking our leave and going upstairs.

I grabbed some pyjamas from the closet and went into the bathroom for a quick shower. After exiting the bathroom, I laid beside Noah on the bed and rested my head on his chest.

"Noah?" I said as I played with his fingers.

"Yes love?" He replied.

"Does it upset you that we haven't completed the mating process?" I asked in a quiet voice.

"It's doesn't upset me. I understand your fears and I'm not going to push you into doing it" he replied softly and began running his hand through my hair.

"When would you want to?" I mumbled.

"Whenever you're ready baby" he answered then placed a soft kiss on the top of my head.

I lifted my head up so I could look at him to see his gaze already on me. His eyes filled with love and care. His eyes were my favourite thing about him. They were like a window into his soul and I find myself getting lost in them every time.

"I couldn't have asked for a better mate" I whispered softly as I smiled at him. His eyes lit up with a sparkle and a happy grin filled his plump lips. He pulled me closer to him so I was now laying on top of him with my head resting on his shoulder.

"I love you" he whispered in my ear, his voice filled with sincerity and love.

"And I love you" I replied then placed my lips on his.

My eyebrows furrowed at the sight of my name and Zander's on the front.

I took it from his grip and tore it open. I unfolded the paper and began reading, with Noah also reading it over my shoulder.

'To my brother and sister,

I'm sure you are aware of the approaching attack involving my pack against yours. Well this is a warning. That body is just a glimpse of what will be left of your pack if you do not surrender yourselves to me.

I gasped and dropped to the ground as my legs gave out. My eyes tears up as I stared the the mangled body in front of me.

"Rosiane?" Noah called then he crouched in front of me, blocking my view of the body.

"It's my fault" I whispered as a tear fell.

"It's not. I won't let him take you or your brother. We'll think of a plan, ok?" Noah reassured me before pulling me to his chest.

I cried into his chest as he spoke to the two pack members. He suddenly picked me and I quickly wrapped my legs around his waist. He cooed sweet nothings into my ear as he walked back home.
