Cain was meant to be coming in a few days. Noah made it clear that there was no way in hell that Zander and I are going to give ourselves up.
We don't know what Cain wants with us but we do know it's not for a happy sibling reunion.
We had a plan, it isn't the best but it's all we could think of. Noah, Zander, a group of warriors and I would be waiting at the meeting point for Cain.
We figured that Cain wouldn't bother bringing his whole pack but just a few warriors for protection.
We would try to talk with Cain and figure out what he wants. If it's bad then we'll try to convince him to stop whatever he's planning. If he doesn't want to talk civilly then we'll try to capture him which won't be a walk in the park.
But like I said, it's not the best plan.
I heard a distant whimper coming from the forest that set off my Luna instincts. I quickly changed course and began walking towards the sound.
It was further away then I expected but considering my senses have heightened even more, it's understandable.
I tilted my head upwards and took in a deep breath then instantly snarled.
I began running in the direction of the familiar scent until I stopped behind a bush. I peaked over it and held in a growl.
Without wasting another second, I leaped over the bush and stomped angrily towards them.
"What do you think you're doing?" I snarled.
"Oh, it's about time Luna" he chuckled and tightened his grip on the young girl that he held in front of him.
"Let her go"
"Surrender yourself and then I'll consider it"
I felt Tala come forward at the threat towards her pack member and she let out a furious growl before leaping towards him. He fell back, releasing the girl who fell beside him.
I quickly picked her up and began running towards the pack house.
"Get her!" He yelled from behind me then I heard footsteps chasing me.
We were about 10 minutes from the pack house so I quickened my pace.
"Sweetheart, I need you to run back to the pack house as fast as you can" I told the little girl as I placed her on the ground.
"But I don't want to leave you Luna" she whimpered and clutched my leg tightly.
"I need to get rid of the bad guys sweetie. You'll be ok, I promise. Now you must go" I reassured her.
I placed as soft kiss on her head before gently pushing her in the direction of the pack house. She whimpered once more before running off.

Noah's POV
"Well that was a complete waste of time" I huffed as I rolled my eyes.
"The patrols reported suspicious sightings at the boarder Noah. It's better to be safe then sorry" Luke shrugged.
I didn't reply and we continued our walk back to the pack house in silence.
"Alpha!" I heard a voice yell. I turned to my left and saw Julia holding her crying daughter in her arms.
"What is it Julia?" I frowned worriedly.
"It's the Luna, Alpha. My daughter was out playing in the woods when a group of men grabbed her. The Luna saved her and told her to run back to the pack house while she handled the men. Alpha it's been an hour and there's still no sign of her" she cried.
"Where did this all happen?" I asked frantically. She told me where and I immediately bolted in that direction.
"Rosiane!" I called out as I searched the area. I ran my hands threw my hair as I snapped my head around the area in search of my missing mate.
I took in a deep breath but couldn't smell anything.
