She also slept with a guy seven years younger than her, she also would want to be Braxton's whore.

She had absolutely no right.

"How is Ken though, it has been long I last saw him." Alicia said, changing the topic. Ken was Serena's boyfriend.

"He had work to do in Texas so he left three days ago." Serena said and used her hand to support her jaw.

"Are you seeing him?" Serena asked all of a sudden. Alicia's heart started beating erratically at the thought of what Serena might think about her.

She doesn't want Serena to see her as a pedophile though Braxton was already an adult, she still found herself wrong.

"I....who are you talking about?" Alicia asked.

"Braxton."

Serena waited patiently to hear Alicia's reply but the reply wasn't forthcoming, she stood up from the couch and walked towards Alicia, her eyes inspecting her closely.

"Are you seeing that guy, Alicia?" She asked yet again. This time Alicia came back to her senses and quickly shook her head.

"Of course not, why will I be seeing him, he is just an artist that I love listening to, nothing more." She lied, even though she was surprised that she didn't stutter while lying to Serena.

'Damn it Alicia, you are slowly turning into a professional liar.' she thought in her mind.

Serena on the other hand was having her doubts, she didn't want to prolong the topic so she nodded her head.

She picked potato chips from the plate In front of her and put it inside her mouth, when she was eating the potato chips she felt disgusted with herself.

Not only did she lie to Serena whom she hardly lied to, but she also slept with Braxton again after promising herself not to.

She felt like punching the wall.

"You can tell me anything you know, right?" Serena said all of a sudden, Alicia gulped down her juice and nodded. Serena noticed that Alicia's mood had changed, so she started thinking of something to lighten her mood.

She grabbed the remote on the centre table and changed the channel into a music channel, fortunately for her Braxton's 'Hold me' music video just started.

When Alicia heard the music that was playing she looked up at the television and smiled widely, if it is a sin to like Braxton then she must be the baddest sinner on Earth.

"I'll be in the room now,I have a presentation to make tomorrow morning, otherwise my boss will fire my ass." Serena said and Alicia bursted into laughter.

She wants to get married and have more children like most women of her age, she has everything. Money, power, connections.

Her love life is the most complicated of them all.

Maybe if she is not that focused on the age difference and the fact that she has a daughter then maybe she would have accepted the offer from Braxton.

She exhaled loudly and logged out of her account. She wanted to close her laptop when an email came in. She clicked on the email and cursed out loudly.

She already let it known to her secretary not to send anything work related when she left her work premises, but the girl was just too stubborn to understand her.

She closed her laptop without going through the email and placed it back in her bag, she stood up from the couch and went to turn off the television, she grabbed the plate and glass and also the remaining juice on the table and walked towards the kitchen. When she got to the kitchen she dropped the plate and glass inside the sink and returned the juice inside the fridge, she washed the plate and glass and rinsed them then kept them in their respective places.

Alicia walked out of the kitchen, she got to the living room and carried her bag and walked off along the hallway, she pushed the door open and turned on the light.

Serena was already sleeping, she dropped her handbag on the nearby couch and covered Serena with the duvet that was pulling down her leg. She started stripping out of her clothes and walked inside the bathroom to have a cold bath.

Few minutes later Alicia was through with her bath, she walked out of the bathroom and sat down before Serena's dressing mirror.

She dried up her hair and packed it up in a ponytail then made to stand up when her phone started vibrating.
