Alicia grabbed her phone from her handbag and smiled when she saw the person's face timing her.

She swiped the receive icon and sat down on the chair.

"Hey sweetheart,"

"Mom, I miss you, grandfather won't let me come to you and I'm pissed." The teenage girl said.

Alicia laughed, her eyes twinkling with admiration whenever she looked at her daughter.

Tanya Young, her 14 years old daughter, also one of the reasons why she felt like being with Braxton will cause more harm than good in her life.

"You know that mommy is a busy baby, but don't worry I'll come get you sometime next week, happy?" Alicia asked Tanya and she nodded,

" Mom you're glowing, don't tell me you got a new beauty product without letting me know." Tanya said and raised an eyebrow.

" Of course not, I didn't get a new beauty product, still using the one you got for me" Alicia retorted, something came to herind and she furrowed her eyebrows.

"By the way, why are you calling me so late at night? You didn't go partying, did you?" Alicia questioned sternly.

" I didn't go partying, I just couldn't sleep" Tanya said and shifted on her seat so that Alicia could see her well.

"Okay, why don't we talk tomorrow sweetheart, mom is feeling sleepy now" Alicia said and she nodded.

"I know that you're in aunt Serena's apartment, what about uncle Ken isn't he around?" Her inquisitive see asked.

"Ken went to Texas, but Ken won't stop me from sleeping over here." Alicia responded and rolled her eyes.

"Mom?" Tanya called and Alicia looked up at her.

"What is that red mark on your chest?" She asked and Alicia looked at herself in the mirror, she gasped, her eyes quickly went back to her phone screen.

" I.....I...." She didn't know what to say.

"oh sh*t" she whispered to herself.

"Sorry for being late ladies and gentlemen. I apologize for keeping you all waiting, so as you all know I am Alicia Young the president of this company and I've seen your contract though I didn't go through it well. I would like our presenter to go through it well and explain things to us." Alicia said calmly.

Hearing her voice alone was enough for Braxton to lose his mind he was trying to compose himself but the more she speaks the more it becomes a hard for him the way she looks very mature in her professional self waa is a big turn-on for him.

Alicia looked up from the file on her hand and we eyes met with that of Braxton, she gulped hard and looked away immediately.

She tried whatever she could to not look in his direction again.

"Miss Young, I assure you that working with our company will be a win-win situation for all of us as you must have known we have one of the best artists in the world signed to my record label, so you don't need to worry of the contract getting bridged." The record label boss said to Alicia.

She rolled her eyes and fixed her gaze on the presenter while making some calculations on the projector.

They placed the contract in front of Alicia and gave her a pen and showed her where she was to sign. She went through the contract for the last time before signing her signature on it.

The record label boss also signed his signature and they exchanged pleasantries, when it got to Alicia and Braxton's to exchange pleasantries, they stood still looking at each other, when Alicia noticed that they had been standing looking at each other for a long time she decided to end the awkwardness.
