"Got TV?" He asked while munching on his pancake. He kinda reminded me of Ash when she eats small pieces of salami. So cute. Munch, munch…

"Yeah sure, follow me." I took the plate and walked towards the living room.

He snatched the TV remote out of my hands as soon as we sat down. "So what are we gonna watch?"

I looked at him, and he was still wearing just that stupid towel. "Aren't you cold?" I asked, glimpsing at his naked upper body. Body to die for.

"Nope." He emphasized the P, stretching his bare legs over my lap. The infernal grin danced on his face.

I looked away and stuffed my face with a huge piece of pancake. Now to chew it and swallow it down. Challenge accepted! I chuckled a bit, Barney Stinson just makes me laugh. "Goship Ghirl." I mumbled with full mouth.

"What?"

"Gossip Girl!" I swallowed and yelled.

He snorted. "No chick flicks."

"It's not a…" I didn't even finished the sentence because he gave me somewhat of an evil stare. Cranky pants. "How I met your mother?"

"No."

"Two and a half men?"

"No."

"The vampire diaries?"

He rolled his eyes and looked at me. "No."

"Psych?"

"No."

"The big bang theory?"

"No."

"Well, what would you like to watch?" I finally got feed up with his arrogance.

"Hmm…" He was munching on his third pancake already. "How about Game of Thrones?"

"What's that?" I gave him a blank stare.

"What?" I asked, catching my breath.

He bit his lip and leaned even closer to me. I could smell that sweet pancake and orange in his soft breath. "I've never seen you smile before." A sincere expression formed on his face. "You look so beautiful."

I felt the heath spreading across my cheeks, I couldn't hide anywhere. He brushed his soft lips, gently, across mine. My heart was doing jumping jacks and I closed my eyes, expecting his kiss.

He leaned his forehead on mine. "Skye," He whispered "I can't be with you."

I felt like something hit me in the stomach. I quickly picked my brain for an explanation, opening my eyes. Why? Why was he telling me this?

He stood up and I saw that familiar pain and anger, flashing all over his grimaced face. "I don't do relationships, not my thing." He glimpsed over to my left wrist. "I just don't wanna hurt you…by making you believe in something that could never happen."

I felt like a huge rock just fell on my heart, crushing it into tiny pieces. But I decided not to show it. "It's okay," I struggled to make my voice sound careless "I didn't expect anything from you."

He stared at me with a silent surprise. He looked at the clock above our television, and ruffled his hair. "It's already Two o'clock, I've gotta go."

I remembered the situation with his father. "Are you gonna be okay?" I asked, concerned.

"Yeah," His tone was clear "he's probably sober by now." He trailed off uncomfortably.

He walked out of the room, probably going to get dressed. I swallowed the large lump in my throat. I sat back on the couch, rubbing my hands over my cheeks. Why did that one sentence upset me? I am fine,I was repeating in my head over and over again. It's not like I have a crush on him. You can't fall for someone, just after three kisses, right?
