"Jimmy are you for real?" Kayla blurted out.

"What's with you two?" Jimmy smiled. "I'm sorry…Skye, I've never seen you before, I mean I don't remember you." There was no sign of humor on Jimmy's face. He seemed completely sincere.

"What's the last thing you remember?" Asked Lucas, narrowing his eyes at Jimmy.

"Um, I don't know, I guess feeling wozzy…everything is foggy and then two fast bright lights…"

"So you remember the accident…but not Skye." Lucas crossed his arms.

"I guess." Jimmy shyly smiled at me.

How come he forgot me? Lucas appeared worried, crossing his arms like that. He looked like Jimmy's older brother, no, more like his father. He was furrowing his eyebrows in that cute way, like when he seriously thinks about something. Suddenly a short blond nurse stepped into the room.

Lucas walked towards her. "Can I ask you something?"

She blushed and slightly smiled at him. Why was this making me…angry? "Yes." She answered with a sickening sweet voice.

"Is it possible for someone to forget only one person?" Lucas asked.

The nurse took a deep breath, pouting her pink lips. I think she thought that was cute. It wasn't. "Well, it's rare…but it could happen. There are a number of types of amnesia. If your friend forgot something, or in this case someone, he is probably suffering from a traumatic amnesia. It's common after a head injury, but the duration and intensity of the memory loss is related to the type of injury received, but memory often returns after the patient recovers."

"Often?" I asked her. Often means…not all the times. Not hundred percent. Only often.

"Yeah, often." She was still looking at Lucas, smiling. "It's usually triggered by an object or a certain place."

"But sometimes it doesn't come back?" I turned my eyes at my feet. I was really tired. I just wanted this day to end. I just wanted all this fucked up life not to be so…fucked up. So tired, tired of everything. Tired of life beating me down.

"Yeah, well…sometimes it doesn't." She answered with that sugary voice of hers.

Lucas nodded and just walked past her. You should have seen her disappointed face…It almost made me chuckle. I sighed and looked through the small window on the right. Pitch black. I've gotta go home.

I'm just gonna ask Lucas to take me home.

"Um, ye…"

"Who are you?" She suddenly asked, lifting one of her eyebrows, questionably.

"Oh, um this is Skye." Lucas walked towards me. "And Skye, this is Cookie. Jimmy's sister."

She looked even cutter up close. She must've been around fourteen years old. Now I remembered who she was reminding me of! Jimmy! Of course, family resemblance was obvious. Her eyes and her smile were almost exactly the same as Jimmy's. She looked at my feet and slowly moved her glare towards my face. "So what are you," She said with a sarcastic tone. "Kayla's girlfriend or something?"

The nerve on that brat! "No, I'm not…" I tried answering as calmly as I could.

"So, Jimmy's girl?" She laughed with that annoying squeaky voice of hers. "Man, has my brother lowered his standards! I mean, I totally thought you were a lesbian, I mean not because you were butch or anything, you have a girly figure, I give you that, but seriously - your clothes. You look like straight out of the gym… And I know you can't be Lucas's girl because when he starts dating, the first and last girl he's gonna date," She looked at him, opening her huge bright eyes like freaking Bambi, wrapping her hands around his arm. "is gonna be me. Right, Luc?" She said with a french accent.

Lucas shook his head in disapproval. He seemed so annoyed.

"Luc, you meanie!" She hugged his arm even tighter. "You…"
