"Pick a card." He said, raising one of his eyebrows, looking incredibly hot.
I got six of hearts. The corner of his lips turned into a slight smile. He threw his card on the desk. King of hearts.
"Drink." He smirked and pointed towards my glass. I took a sip of that disgusting drink. The beer tasted bitter on my tongue, my throat filled with pungent bitterness and I struggled against my gag reflex, grimacing and thinking who would drink this stuff. After a few seconds I felt a slight warm feeling in my throat…I kinda liked it.
"What to ask, what to ask…" He teased, smirking at me. "So, you turned me down at school…"
I swallowed.
"…and I don't get turned down." He arrogantly said. He has an ego problem. " Are you a lesbian?"
Bang! He shoot me with that question. I mean, what? Just because I didn't want him, I was suddenly a lesbian?! Man, the ego on that kid…
I lowered my eyes, focusing on the cat in my lap. This question made me feel embarrassed and…angry. "N…No! I'm not a…"
"It's okay, I don't have a problem with lesbians, in fact one of my friends is one. I can introduce you two if…"
"I am not a lesbian!" I said in an angry voice, clenching my teeth.
"Okay, okay chill lil' kitty." He laughed, amused by my reply. "Again." He ordered. It seemed like he was having fun. I watched him as he bit his lower lip while he pulled another card from the deck. He grinned and his dark eyes crinkled in the corners. Damn.
I slowly took a card…queen of spades. He put his on the table. Jack of hearts. I wasn't sure which one is stronger…
"Your turn." He took a long gulp of beer. What should I ask him? I wanted to ask him about that woman, but somehow it seemed like a bad idea…
"What…" I caressed the cat's fur, trying to think of a good question "What is your favourite colour?"
He stared at me with a blank expression on his face. The sudden burst of laughter made the glass of beer shake in his hand. He was covering his mouth, trying to muffle the sound of mischievous cackle.
"Oh c'mon," He said, laughing silently "you can do better then that."
I was twisting the card in my hands. "What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you?"
His face suddenly got more serious. He seemed to be a bit…hesitant? He cleared his throat, trying to get back some dignity. He touched the back of his neck and leaned closer to the table. "It's kinda embarrassing." He almost whispered. "Come closer."
I leaned over the table, curiosity was getting the hold of me.
"Closer." He said.
All of a sudden he gently touched my left cheek and pulled me closer towards him. It all happened in a flash. He kissed me. His lips felt so soft and warm on mine. I felt the electricity pulsing through me as he gently brushed my cheek. He pulled away, biting his lip which soon widened in a wicked smile.
"I've just stolen Skye Monroe's first kiss." Grinned the big bad wolf.
I was too shocked to do anything, a million thoughts were bumping around inside my head, making a mess. "W…Why did you do that?" I mumbled.
