"I just felt like kissing you." He shrugged so effortlessly it made me agitated. I didn't want my first kiss to happen like this, so…meaningless. "Don't be so mad lil' kitty," He teased "you can ask me another question."

He seemed to have forgotten that he didn't even answer the first one. Fine, I'll play your game. I don't know what gave me the courage - my anger or the alcohol. "Who was that woman you were screwing at school?" The swirl of emotions I saw on his face made me gasp for air. Pain and anger twisted his dark eyes. He was so angry, so hurt all of a sudden, it made me regret that demonic question. I wanted to take it back, but I couldn't…

"She was work." He snapped and stood up.

Work? What did he mean by that?

"I'll take you home." He didn't even make eye contact with me when he threw my jacket. He furrowed his eyebrows, and try to discard all of those emotions he felt. I could see the disgust on his face…

"I'm sorry." I mumbled, trying to fix the situation. I could understand pain more than anyone, and the last thing I was trying to do, was to hurt the first person that was actually nice to me. "I can take the bus…"

"Just come with me!" He ordered in his rude tone. He grabbed his leather jacket and headed towards the door. I didn't want to make him even angrier so I put on my jacket and tucked the cat under it.

In the garage he had a huge black motorbike. I've never been on one. It looked a bit intimidating, but when Lucas moved it, it seemed light as a feather.

"Sit behind me." His voice was so cold. I wanted him to smile again.

I sat on the seat. It was surprisingly comfortable. "Hold on." He said right before we drove off, into the rain.

With one hand I was holding onto his waist, and with the other I was calming down the cat. Her eyes were shut, she didn't even care about any of this. That made me chuckle. He didn't drive fast, which surprised me. The rain, which earlier seemed so depressing, has changed. The soothing sound of the light rain weirdly calmed me down. As we were driving, a few drops of rain sprayed my face like watery kisses, but they weren't obscuring my view, they were now refracting the glimmers of light, making everything appear softer and blurry.

I gave him directions to where I live, but he didn't even flinch, he just stayed quiet and drove. We stopped in front of our house and I got off the bike.

"I'm really sorry Lucas…" I tried to apologize one more time. I really didn't want to lose a potential friend.

"Forgiven and forgotten." He calmly replied, but I could see that it was still troubling him. "What are you gonna name the cat anyway?" He reached into my jacket and gently brushed her head.

"I don't know." I shrugged.

"How 'bout Mittens? You know, 'cause of the paws." He mumbled while putting another cigarette in his mouth.

Virginia and her pack (Susan F. Susan D. and Susan V.) surrounded me. She crossed her arms and lifted that disgusting chin of hers. She was beautiful to look at (if you didn't knew her), but everything on her disgusted me.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" She snapped, looking at me like she was going to rip my head off.

"W…What are you talking about?" I said with a trembling voice.

"You know damn well what she's talking about!" Susan F. spat at me.

"I don't…" I tried to stay calm.

"Don't lie you little bitch!" Yelled Virginia and stepped closer. I could smell her rotten breath. "You and Lucas yesterday," She started with a terrifying voice "what the fuck was that about?"

"Nothing, he just mistook me for somebody else…" I lied, hoping she would back off.

"You lying little bitch," Laughed Susan D. "we saw you on the back of his bike yesterday."
