Cold Showers novel Chapter 42

Immediately Sebastian helped Jayda out of the car, he picked her up in a bridal style and made his way into his apartment.

"Seb?" She called as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Yes, my love."

"I really don't know how to thank you for today."

"You need not thank me, sweetheart. I wanted to make today memorable for you and I'm happy my mission was accomplished."

"I was totally blown away. I love you more every second."

"I'm honoured." Sebastian smiled.

He placed her to her feet when he got to his room. "I have one more thing to show you."

"Seb" Jayda pouted.

Sebastian chuckled and raised his hands in defence. "It's not a gift persay. Well not really, it's something for the two of us."

"Okay?" Jayda said unsure as she took a seat on the sofa in Seb's room.

Sebastian proceeded to one of the drawers by his nightstand and brought out a brown envelope. He sat beside Jayda, handing her the envelope.

She opened it and brought out some documents along with physical keys and keycards.

Sebastian bought a house in their names.

"I don't like the idea of us being apart anymore so I bought a home for us. You are the last person I want to see before I go to bed and the first person I want to lay my eyes on when I wake up. The location is beautiful and peaceful and it's about fifteen minutes drive to your office."

Sebastian took out his phone from his pocket and showed Jayda pictures of the medium size mansion. It was a very beautiful home and perfect for a family of four. (Seb, Jayda, Aaron and their baby)

"Aaron will be sharing equal time with Katie and me so he will have his own room in the mansion. Will you please move in with us?" He asked with pleading eyes.

Jayda took a glance at Sebastian and looked back at the documents and keys on her lap. 'How could she say NO to such an offer?'

She smiled "I'll move in with you and Aaron and thank you for buying the house in our names."

Sebastian placed a kiss on her cheek. "Thank you for saying Yes! So what do you want to do first? Take a shower and then grab something to eat?" He asked.

Jayda returned the documents and keys into the brown envelope and set it aside.

She leaned closer to him and whispered in his ear. "Let's go make love in the shower."

"Your wish is my command, darling." Sebastian smiled and lifted her in his arms. It was indeed going to be a long night for them.

Jayda was totally in awe when she stepped into her office on a Monday morning. Someone that doesn't work in the firm would mistake her office for a gift/flower shop.

She wondered how all the gifts got to her office early this morning. There was no even space for her to work on her desk because it was bombarded with cakes and flowers while her sofa was filled with gift bags.

Jayda found a place to put her handbag and laptop bag and then she called her Secretary for help.

"Yes, everything is fine," Anna replied.

"Anna? Are you sure you're being truthful?" Jayda pushed.

Anna nodded.

"Just let me know if you need anything. I'll always be here for you, okay?"

Anna smiled, "Thank you."

"So, back to this office." Jayda sighed. "You'll help me out with the names of people that sent all of these so I can thank them. Also, send a message to all the interns that sent me gifts to see me in my office by 2 pm so I can thank them personally."

Anna nodded.

Jayda and Anna spent the next couple of minutes sorting out the gifts to know who sent which. After that, one of the security guards came to assist Anna in taking all the gift bags and a few roses to Jayda's car.

Jayda decorated her office with some of the flowers and decided she was not going to take any cake home. Instead, she would share them among everyone in the office and probably send a box of cupcakes to Lilian.

After Jayda's office had been cleared, She settled behind her desk to do some work until it was time for her Doctor's appointment. She and Sebastian were finally going to find out their baby's gender.

Jayda was pretty excited about it. She would stop referring to her munchkin as "it" and now she would be able to shop properly for him or her and even start decorating the nursery.

Seb had taken her to the new home he bought for them yesterday and she instantly fell in love with the place. It was more beautiful in physical than the pictures he showed her.

Just a few more decorations to be done and then the house will be ready for them to move in.
