Kiara's point of view...
The life was giving me a second chance. It was not yet clear but I have seen it... It was my chance- chance to ask for my husband's forgiveness.
He was mad at me for staying at another man's house. But how to make him believe we stayed in two different rooms in the same house. Payton is not that bad which he was in the college. He is a changed man now.
But for raven, he was still the old guy who was just trying to woo his girlfriend turned into wife.
Any ways, I have seen it in his eyes he was not angry... He was just jealous. And if what I have deciphered true, than tonight will the night of our togetherness. I will make him mine again.
I have changed to take revenge, now I will change myself to get him back in life. And I really mean it.

"So finally we are back to our home Billy. Our sweet home!" I squealed feeling that unusual breeze of contentment hit me.
As I stepped with Billy inside the foyer of the house where I was bought after our marriage, memories hit me harshly. The house when I enjoyed the best moments and also, the house that I left for vengeance.
I felt my hair on the skin rising in amusement. I was back to my house... Our house. That belong to only and only us.
"Mamma" Billy squirmed in my arms whining to get out of my hold.
I put him down only to see hi running behind the couch and hide there. He was in the mood to play. "Where is my Billy. Are you there behind the couch?" I spoke in a baby voice joining him in his game.
His ticklish laugh filled the air turning the silent abode of my billionaire husband a real home. I wish if he were here to see this. I wish if he could catch this moment and see his son moving around the house filled with the strength.
This was what he always desired to see before I came to his life. Now that it was really fulfilling he was not there. At least that is what I have assumed until I noticed Billy coming out of his hiding place and take a sprint passing by me and hug the knees of the person who was standing at the doorstep.
"Papa, y-ya chame" (Papa you came) He was hugging his father who I don't know, have stood there for how long!
My vessels again pumped with my blood rushing through them vigorously. What I wished happened- he was finally here cherishing this lovely moment. But the looks of his face conveyed that he never expected me to visit his house.
"Hi baby, yes papa is here." He bent down on the knees placing a trail of kisses from his hair to his cheeks.
He picked up, his eyes smiling with joy unless they turned to face me. No sooner they rested them on my body, they turned cold and ridiculous towards me. He was smiling a second ago whilst talking to his son but now as he looked away from his face and spared me a view, he looked at me with apprehension and disgust.
Trust me, his cold look killed my heart. I could not feel anything good but disgusted. When he trailed his eyes up and down my body, he looked ever ridiculed than the previous time.
My conscience felt insulted. I wanted to scream and tell him to stop that cold behaviour but I could not. Right after setting my foot within the boundaries of his abode my legs have gone jelly.
I felt like the old Kiara he has come to this house for the first time- timid and nervous, who can cry on any topic.
He made me feel like the Kiara who loved to get his love and enjoy his attention.
But now, the attention he was showering me with was not pleasing. It was rather piercing holes in my soul.
That wasn't our first kiss after our union. I wanted it to be smooth so that I can feel him, touch him and get that sense of belonging again. But mere touch of our lips that difficultly lasted for few seconds left me moan in apprehension.
I was not yet sure whether he really wanted me or not. His actions were enticing but his eyes, they were puncturing holes through my soul. The way his fingers pulled my head, my hair ached at the stretch. He has literally cocoons his fingers in the trap of my thick hair.
"When I talk to you- Look at me" I slightly nodded over his alarming tone.
We were still sailing on a boat that had no hope of returning to the seashore. His darkening intense eyes were messing with my comfort zone around him.
After two and half years I was feeling the old Raven glaring me enviously. He was acting as the same old harsh and dominating Raven who loved controlling my life. He loved seeing me do things that pleased him more rather than the ones who left him yearn and hiss in anger.
I would be angry for that behaviour of his in the past but today, even that seemed so turning on to me. That is what I missed all this while. And having it return with more energy and rudeness, I was liking it.
"Are we clear on that?" he asked me with a high pitched warning ringing within his interrogation.
I had brought myself to push my head swiftly to agree with him but at the same time his phone rang and I heaved a sigh. His eyes were off my face for a while, not for a long time though. He unwrapped my hair from around his fingers and took the phone. His other hand never left my waist.
The way he was replying it felt like the call was from his office.
Once he finished the conversation he moved back to me once again. "We are not done yet, we continue this once I come back." he spoke and left me standing there clueless.
However, it was 7.13 pm in the evening. I wonder why he has to go now! But never mind, when he will return he's going to get a surprise.
