The date for Ebony Fox and Kurt's wedding had been set.

It was going to be two months away, right before the holidays.

Out of the whole family, Coralie was the only one unmarried and without a boyfriend.

So naturally, Ebony Fox roped her in to be a bridesmaid.

Today was the day to try on dresses.

She woke up early, but the moment she got out of bed, she felt a cramp in her abdomen.

Checking the bathroom, she confirmed her period had arrived.

She opened the drawer, only to find she was completely out of supplies.

Just as she was about to call the housekeeper...

A knock came at the door, followed by Channing's voice. "Miss, I brought you some feminine products."

She froze for two seconds before realizing that he kept better track of her cycle than she did.

She didn't know whether to call him thoughtful or creepy.

"Bring them in, and keep your eyes closed," she said, her face flushing.

"Yes."

The handle clicked, and he stepped in, gently placing two packs of pads on the counter.

He had also brought a clean pair of underwear.

After setting the items down, he immediately backed out.

She glanced up and saw his tall silhouette lingering outside the door.

He hadn't completely left.

After freshening up, she walked out of the bathroom, her body feeling incredibly weak.

"Uncomfortable?" He immediately stepped forward, supporting her against his chest. "Shall I carry you downstairs?"

She shot him a look. She wasn't so fragile that she couldn't even walk.

"No need," she said, shaking her head and taking a step forward.

But with every step, her lower abdomen cramped painfully.

She stopped and looked up at him.

Catching the hint, he effortlessly scooped her up and carried her down the stairs.

"Miss, Mr. Irving," the housekeeper greeted respectfully as she prepared breakfast. "The jujube and ginger tea is ready. Would you like some now?"
