Annie's P. O. V.

"I can't believe you came to see the movie with us," Mike said in an annoyed tone. "You are going too far with your obnoxious attitude."

"It's a public place, how were you gonna stop me?" Evan smirked. "I'm here to watch a movie. Just like everyone else."

"You are so full of shit!" Mike barked.

"It's okay, I had fun anyway," I remarked. I wasn't lying. It wasn't the date I expected but I had a good time. After a while, their endless bickering was kind of funny. I never thought I'd have two guys fighting over me. Not in a million years. I thought I was just a dorky girl with glasses who no one paid attention to.

"You could have any girl you wanted, so why don't you just back the fuck off?" Mike sneered.

"You back the fuck off!" Evan replied.

"Guys...please," I pleaded.

Evan's eyes softened. "Sorry little hamster," he said.

No matter what, he'll still calls me by that stupid nickname. I sighed. Although I was getting kind of used to it. Things wouldn't be the same if he stops calling me that all of a sudden.

"I should go home now. Thank you for taking me out, Mike. And...Evan," I said. Did I really just have a date with two guys?

"I can take her home, I brought my car," Evan said.

"No way. It's our date! So I'm taking her home. Besides, I would be crazy to let her go alone with a jackass like you." Mike protested.

"I live where she does!" Evan argued. "You are the one who is being a jackass."

It does make sense for Evan to take me home I guess. I already caused Mike so many inconveniences I didn't want to be a burden to him anymore.

"It's okay, I'll go with Evan. He lives right across from me so it makes sense," I said.

"Are you sure?" Mike looks disappointed.

I nodded.

Mike was hesitant but he let it go. I didn't want to disappoint him but I needed to talk to Evan. I wanted to know why he is acting like this.

I could tell it made Evan happy as he was smiling ear to ear. Jerk.

He took me home but instead of parking in front of my driveway, he parked in front of his house.

He opened the door for me then held my hand after I got out of the car.

"I can walk to my house from here," I said.

"Seeing you with him makes me so jealous, I can't stand it," he said and hugged me from behind then buried his face in my hair.

He is been acting like this because he is jealous? Couldn't he handle it more maturely? There's something wrong with this boy. He makes me so mad.

"So what? You were with Lily! Why can't I go out with Mike? He actually likes me and wants something serious. Unlike you who just wants to play around. You've been using me since the day we met and I'm sick of it!" I choked back tears.

"I am sorry. Please don't hate me, little hamster. I love you," he sounded sad. His face was still buried in my hair.

"And what is with the stupid nickna-...wait...what did you say?" I was stunned. I couldn't have heard it right.

"I love you. Please don't leave me for someone else. I'll be better I promise," he said and turned me around to face me.

I stood there dumbfounded. I didn't know what to say. I never expected him of all people to profess his love for me. I thought he was a bully and wanted to use me. But I was wrong. He loves me!

I opened my mouth to say something but closed it again. Wait...something wasn't right. Something was wrong with me. I was facing him but I don't see him? When did he take my glasses off?

I touched my face and felt my glasses still sitting on it.

I realized what was happening and I started to panic. Evan just told me what I wanted to hear all these times. He loves me! This should be the happiest day of my life then why is this happening to me!

Why now?
