---- Aurora's POV ----

After agreeing to go on a date with Max I walked back home still unsure if it was a good idea or not. After all, I was still mated to Wolfgang.

As I opened the door, I was grabbed by my hand and shoved against the wall. I closed my eyes from the sudden force as my back hit the wall but when I opened my eyes, Wolfgang had mi pinned against the wall and his body. His eyes held a menacing glare I had never seen before as they were an intense shade of blue and not the normal baby blue I'm used to.

"What the hell is wr..." He placed his hand over my mouth shutting me up as he started sniffing me around.

"What the hell? Let me go!" I mind linked him.

He snapped his head back up to face me as he growled. That's when I realized that this was not Wolfgang but Cronnos who had taken over. I managed to get his hand off my mouth.

"Cronnos. Let Wolfgang take back control now." I commanded him.

He wouldn't budge though, but his glare turned into one filled with lust. I knew what it means. I could feel the sparks all over my body and I'm sure he could as well. Rhea was howling senseless in my mind fighting me for dominance as well but I couldn't let it get the best of me. I couldn't give into it so I spoke once more, this time with much more authority.

"Cronnos! Now!" He flinched but just huffed before allowing Wolfgang to return.

His baby blue eyes returned before he realized the position we were in and he pushed off the wall.

"I'm sorry." He said almost in a whisper. He looked almost vulnerable. I hated it. He wasn"t the victim here, I was.

"What should we do Aurora. We should tell him about the date with his beta but I'm afraid hen will bite Max"s head off. "

"I know. But I don"t know how to say it. " I answered her back. It was true. It"s not like I could be a heartless monster and tell him that I'd be going on a date with his second in command and that he had no saying in it. Still, it was my right, wasn"t it? He did the same to me with Tallulah.

"Can I ask... What was the urgent matter Max had with you? " Wolfgang interrupted us.

"Oh no." Rhea coward away. I totally got her. I wanted to run away from there just to avoid answering that question, but I couldn"t do that. It"d be too suspicious. Play it cool Aurora.

"Oh, yeah... He needed my opinion in girly matters. I said I'd help him out with it tomorrow. " Okay, I know. I"m being a pussy here not telling him the truth but first of all, I couldn"t bring myself to say I"d be dating someone tomorrow, much less, saying it"s his best friend and second in command.

"I won"t stray or wonder into the woods. I said before the visibly relaxed.

"Good. I"ll see you in three days. " He said before smiling and leaving out the door.

"Well... This turned out way different from what I imagined. "Rhea said.

I totally agreed.

Maybe its for the best that Wolfgang had to leave. It"d make me feel less guilty roaming town with Max as my date without him around. Tomorrow I"ll go on that date with Max just to appease him and show him that we are definitely not meant to be together. I am mated to Wolfgang, even if I don"t acknowledge him as my mate, he hasn't rejected me yet so this would be considered cheating.

But wouldn't it be retaliation for what he did to me with Tallulah? Still this isn't fair to neither of them.

Tomorrow I'll make things clear with Max.
