Her Innocence novel Chapter 24

"You have to be naked!" Bella said in a blunt as Valeria hit her on the shoulder.

"Bella we are in public." She hissed.

"What I helped you start the speech." She said as a chuckle escaped her lips.

"So, I have to be naked to get pregnant?" I asked still confused.

"The guy has to be naked too," Valeria whispered as my eyes widened in shock.

"Why the guy?" I whispered back.

"The guy and girl then lay on the bed and they kiss and then they do some things making the girl pregnant." I quickly hid my face on the table as Valeria told me everything. Bella started laughing saying that I was such an innocent soul. I can't believe it; Nathan has to be naked in front of me and then we have to kiss! This was too much!

"So, my innocent sister are we expecting a new child soon?" Bella teased as I hit her hand again. Valeria gave me small smile as she laughed over how Bella was acting.

"Nathan told me I wasn't ready, I guess he was right." I told them as Valeria patted my shoulder and then Bella spoke.

"So now I can go to that sexy beast?" Bella said already standing up and leaving us without a goodbye. I rolled my eyes and turned to face Valeria.

"Seriously there is nothing in this world that can stop Bella from being stupid." Valeria said with a smile as she watched Bella flirting with the guy.

"Bella told me about her child." I told Valeria as she turned to face me with a surprise look.

"She did?" I nodded as she sighed.

"It's nice to know that she is opening up to you." She said while sipping her drink.

"You know, it was not her fault and neither was Derek's. Their drinks were drugged by one of my class mates. She actually drugged mine and Derek's drink so that we would end up together but Bella drank mine and in between the party they both ended up in a room." Valeria said with sorrow as she kept her eyes on Bella.

"Does Bella know that?" I asked as she turned to face me.

"Yes, and I feel so bad that she keeps blaming herself, the baby died due to stress. And it was normal to take stress since it was unexpected but she took her baby's death a little too much." Valeria eyes teared up as she quickly took a tissue and dabbed the tears away. "She didn't talk to us for a year. That was when me and Derek got married, we invited her as she came, surprisingly." I took Valeria hand in mine a gave it a reassuring squeeze with a smile.

Her words were ringing in my head and I can't help myself but look at Nathan in a different way. I felt something inside me, my heart was beating fast just by looking at him, and his every touch gave me chill that run up my spine.

"You okay? You have been staring at me since we walked out of the cafe." He smirked, looking over at me as I bit my lower lip and quickly turned my face away.

"It's nothing." I mumbled as we remained silent till we reached the house. He opened the door for me and then locked the front door as I was turning to face him, I felt his arms wrap around my knee and back. I yelped as he carried me bridal style, I am going to explode by these weird goosebumps and my cheeks must be sizzling hot.

"Nathan? What are you doing?" I asked as he started walking towards our bedroom.

"I am tired and I can't sleep without you in my arms so I am taking you with me to bed." He smirked and I gulped as I felt the feeling of nervousness and excitability. My eyes were on him as he slowly and carefully put me in bed.

"But I need to change clothes." He huffed but didn't say anything as he took his shirt off and couldn't help but rack my eyes over his bare body.

"I am tired, please just sleep. Change the clothes in the morning" He mumbled as he laid on the bed and pulled me towards him. My clothes weren't uncomfortable but the atmosphere for me was. He wasn't wearing a shirt as my hands were on his bare chest. The light off and the door closed. He was staring at me for a quite some time before he whispered a 'good night' and kissed my forehead. Soon after he was asleep, I thought he knew that I knew how I can be pregnant but he didn't and that saved me from any embarrassment. I was thankful for that.
