I notice him still staring at me making me again blush. My head lowered as I heard him spoke.

"You should eat more." He handed me an orange juice as he left. I carefully adjusted the glass in my bandaged hand and took a sip. He came back and walked over to me as I held half portion of juice towards him. He took the glass and gulped down the juice in one swift motion slightly making my eye widen. He placed the glass on the side table and smiled at me before speaking.

"Sleep you look tired." He said leaning in as I pulled my head backwards making my head hit the headboard.

"Ow!" I rubbed my head with my eyes shut.

"Are you okay?" He asked slowly as I saw his hand in midair. As if he was making a decision to touch me or not.

I nodded in reply, he stepped back and pulled the covers on top of me as I got comfortable in the bed.

"Sleep well. I'm going to work and I'll come back early." He told me and gave me another one of his smiles and went off. I yawned as I didn't know I was so exhausted.

Nathan was really sweet; he had these narrow blue eyes with waves crashing that make you feel free. And that smile is gorgeous and for the first time being with him, I didn't feel like a stranger with him.

A full week passed my hands were getting better, thanks to Nathan. He took so much care of me.

Every day he would clean my bandage, feed me breakfast with his hands and brought a maid to the house so I didn't have to clean anything. We didn't talk much except the small talks, or the eye contact. And it was better this way. Since he had brought a maid, I had so much free time.

So, I went to explore the little house. It was beautiful with three bedrooms, one kitchen and one living room with a small garden. I remember how my family had a large garden and we used to plant flowers and fruits. It was all before my father left us. We loved him so much, I don't know why he left us all alone? Same with my Mother she left me too. I don't know why.

Why did he leave me to suffer alone?

I sat on the chair that was seated in the garden. As my thought ran about my father and mother. Those were really good times.

"Why are you crying?" I jumped as I heard his voice.

I woke up to find something warm in my arms. I opened up my eyes to find not something rather someone, someone beautiful. I smiled at her and observed her appearance. She had thin lips with high cheekbones, her lips soft pink making me wonder if anyone has even kissed those. Her eyes were closed but behind them hid the beauty of her small sparkling brown orbs. I closed my eyes and after a few minutes, I felt her stir and the all of a sudden, her body was pulled away from me. I bolt up to watch her clutching her chest as she tried to breathe. I raised my hand to touch her, calm her but she flinched back making me drop my hand. She looked frightened.

Did she have a bad dream?

No, she was fine for a few minutes and then suddenly bolted away from me. Maybe she wasn't used to all this, she must be shocked to find herself in my arms. She finally regained her breath as she looked away from me. Why was she afraid? First the incident which led her to bleeding hands and now this, what has she really gone through? What was she fearing of?

So many questions unanswered,

"Sorry." I mumbled as she turned to face me, our eyes met only for a few seconds before she got out of bed and ran straight to the washroom. I rubbed my face, frustrated with all these questions. Maybe, I should take a leave and spend some time with her. It won't do any good when she doesn't even talk to me. I shook my head and walked out of the room towards the kitchen to find the maid cooking breakfast. I sat on the dinning chair as the maid placed the dishes on it.

"Is there anything else you would need Mr. Rivera?" I shook my head and dismissed her, leaving me alone in the dining room. I waited for Janet, after a few minutes she came wearing white sundress with red flower printed on it. She always wore full sleeves shirt with legging below making my curiosity build up. She sat beside me as she stole a glance at me making me smirk at her in amusement, completely forgetting the incident. I picked up my fork and she followed by. We ate in silence as my eyes were fully trained on her. I feed her every day since that incident but today. I know she is not my maid but the food Janet make is way better than anything I have ever tasted and I actually miss it.
