"O-okay sir," I said.
"Call me Robert," he said and then looked out of the window. I nodded to myself because he wasn't looking at me.
"R-Robert?" I said. He looked at me. "W-will your family be there?" I asked whatever was on my mind.
"No," he said.
"B-but you are winning an award, which I think is such a big one, then why-"
"Don't speak in the matters you shouldn't!" he snapped at me.
"S-sorry" I apologized.
Why does he not let me know anything about him?
Guess this isn't as interesting as I thought it would be...
We reached the place. He wrapped his hands around me and smiled at me.
Like really?
I smiled back cause I was sure that he was acting which means that there must be media around. But I looked around and there were no media.
"T-There's no media?" I questioned.
"They are inside. The media of the Anderson Corporation and some other companies only" he said looking again all emotionless without that smile on his face.
"Oh ok," I said. He started moving and so did I.
We entered the building. The whole hall was filled. We went and sat on one of the front seats. VIPs, I guess. Oh yeah, I also became a VIP.
Very Important person, okay? Don't make it Idiot or something like that.
Haha. I suddenly feel proud!
"Stop smiling like a maniac" he whispered to me and I looked at him.
There was a genuine smile on his face, which is, I'm telling you, very rare.
"And now is the time to present you with the winners!" the host exclaimed.
I don't know why, but I wished that he wins. I mean, I really wished.
"The businessman of the year award goes to" my heavy breathing was not even allowing me to listen. "Mr. Robert Anderson!" and with that, he stood up. He bent down and kissed me on my cheeks. I was BEYOND shocked. I mean, really!?
Then he went to the stage and took the award.
"Hello everybody, I'm glad to be honored with this award. Basically, I have one person in my life right now. She's... uh sitting there!" he said and pointed towards me. All eyes snapped in my direction and I closed my eyes. I was extremely nervous. Then I opened my eyes, and all were still looking at me.
The crown burst out in the round of applause and everyone seemed happy suddenly. Then he took my hand and headed towards our seats.
"W-well, congratulations!" I said finally. He looked at me and then at my lips.
He seemed distracted for a moment, but then he looked here and there.
He's weird sometimes.
No, most of the time.
NO, all the time.
"Come with me," he said. I nodded and followed him like a puppet. We soon reached a place that seemed like the back gate of the building. I looked at him with a question mark, but soon stopped when he pushed me against the wall.
I started breathing heavily. There was no rage in his eyes, no anger, nothing but pain.
Who hurt the devil himself?
"Corazon," he said.
Okay, now I am afraid. He always says Corazon whenever he is angry or wants to hurt me.
"Hm," I said acting normal as if his face doesn't intimidate me.
