"Bitch stop this nonsense and eat!" he yelled.

I nodded as tears pooled in my eyes.

I was hungry... to be honest.

I have to work the whole day after this and I don't wanna create a scene.

"R-Robert, I-I wanna complete my internship..." I said to him.

He stopped eating and looked at me. He then started laughing.

"What makes you think I'm ever gonna let you do that? You have to be my PA and that's all" he said.

"You know why I opted for this job. I-I don't wanna do business. I'm a medical student... I-I took this because I was out of money and internships don't pay well here..." I explained to him.

"You keep on explaining me yourself but I'm never gonna let you fulfill your dreams," he said and continued eating.

Even if I completed my studies, I can't become a legal doctor.

Woah.

What a fate, right?

Will my dream never come true?

"Come on. I'll take you to the office myself" he said and I nodded and got up.

It's fine, I will fight for it later.

Right now, I don't want to mess up today.

Hailey's POV

I reached the office with him. He asked me to summarize some files and prepare a report as there was a meeting today. I nodded and left his cabin.

I was summarizing the file when I received a call on my office phone.

"Hailey, come in my office," Robert said.

"Oka-" the call ended before I could reply.

That was rude! 

Like he is ever good with you.

I took the files that I had summarised and went to his office.

I knocked on the door and wished that he was not doing that again...

It was a nightmare.

"Come in," he said. I opened the door and entered inside. He was working on his laptop.

"Here is the file I have completed," I said, a little coldly.

"Is that how you speak with your boss and husband?" he asked.

Oh yeah, what a sweet and loyal husband.

Notice the sarcasm, please.

"I-I... H-here is the file I've completed" I repeated, trying to be as sweet and good as I can.

He suddenly pulled me on his lap. I was very scared as my back faced him and his hand trailed over my waist.

"Robe-" he stopped me.

"Listen, Corazon," he said. "I want you to be honest, right now" he whispered.

"Sir, it's time for the meeting," I said to him. He got up and then we went to the meeting room. 

We welcomed Mr. Spencer and then sat down.

Yeah, we are here for negotiation for the deal. Because that deal was his dream deal.

And I have to get it for him.

"So What are you willing to offer for this deal, Mr. Anderson?" Mr. Spencer asked.

He thought for a second and then spoke up.

"Sir. You know very well that this is my dream deal and I am willing to do anything for this. You may put your conditions" he said.

"Very well then" Mr. Spencer replied and his assistant brought a file and kept it in front of Robert.

He opened the file and then gave it to me.

"Mr. Spencer, I hope you have no problem if my assistant read this file and accepts the conditions?" he said.

My heartbeat rose.

What if I do some mistakes?

No-no! He will kill you!

"No, I don't" Mr. Spencer replied.

Then Robert looked at me. "You can go through all the conditions. Contact me if there's something you want to ask"

"Okay sir" I replied. He smiled.

"So, I expect a reply tomorrow itself. Thank you for your time" Mr. Spencer said and got up and left.
