"Is it my fault that he was staring at me!?" I yelled at him back.

He became quiet for a moment. "Leave," he said.

"Robert..."

"See. He wants to create trouble between us. I wanna be alone. So, please" he said and I nodded and left.

I wouldn't have felt bad if he told me that I made mistakes.

But he told me that I was allowing him to stare at me.

Like I... I liked it.

That is one hell of a big accusation, you know?

I felt like crying, but controlling myself, I continued working. I know he could see me from his office. I should not cry in this situation.

It was almost time to go home and I waited for him to come out of his cabin. He came out and I stood there, without saying anything.

He didn't say anything either and I followed him to his car. As we sat down, he started the car and the uncomfortable silence took over us.

We didn't speak a single sentence until we reached home.

"I'll be in my room today. Please tell the cook to prepare the food" I said and started going, but turned around. "And yes, I am not hungry"

He looked confused for a moment. "You will have to eat; you will come down in half an hour. Now go" he said.

I nodded because I was hungry anyway. I went to my room and sat down and used my phone for a while.

After exactly half an hour, I went downstairs and the food was served. He hasn't eaten, I sat across him and ate mine, and went back to my room.

It was night and I was laying in my bed. I was not sleepy, I wanted to cry. In fact, I was crying. Remembering how he embarrassed me by saying that I liked another man's stare.

A few moments later, the clicking sound of the door brought me out of my world and I shifted in my bed to the furthest side. Then I turned to another side so that he doesn't see me crying.

"Hailey..." he said as he slipped beside me. "You awake?" he asked.

I kept quiet and as he always told me, that I should breathe normally if I want him to think that I am sleeping, I did the same.

"Listen, I-I don't know if you're sleeping or not," he said and I could hear him sighing.

I suppressed my sobs and shifted a little to take a better posture. But he pulled me towards him and I was facing him.

"Why are you crying?" he asked.

I started sobbing audibly. "N-Nothing," I said.

He looked at me and I started hyperventilation.

"Take a breath," he said as I was breathing loudly. "Slowly, slowly, okay?" he said.

I smiled and sobbed at the same time.

Hailey's POV

I woke up the next day and his mood was good again. He was in the room, setting his tie, and was smiling. As I got up, he looked at me and passed a smile to me too.

"Good morning, Hailey," he said.

"Yeah, it is a very good morning" I replied and got to him. "May I?" I asked.

He nodded and I did his tie. I got away and then smiling, I went to take a shower.

I went to the office and did the work, and the entire day went smoothly and happily. He was behaving even nicely now and was accepting of anything I say, be it taking him to dinner out tonight or to go from work earlier.

I took a leave from the office earlier, saying that I wanted to rest. He accepted without asking anything and I left the office.

I reached home and started preparing dinner. Yeah, first I decided to book some expensive restaurant, eat in luxury, but you know, home's food-- best food.

I started seeing some recipes, much the same second, laziness took over me.

I think the restaurant isn't a bad idea.

I looked for the best restaurants around the city and finally found one that looked nice. I know, he always eats in these VIP Restaurants, and I should discourage him, but to be honest, I also wanna try these-- at least once.

I got dressed and finally, after getting myself ready, I went downstairs. He must be coming soon, so I decided to book an appointment.
