Now take your vows.
"I, Robert Anderson, take Hailey Cameron to be my lawfully wedded wife. to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy law, in the presence of God I make this vow," he said and then the priest looked towards me.
I was afraid to speak anything. My lips were trembling. My voice was gone.
"Speak, fast!" he whisper-yelled.
Voice still didn't come out of my mouth. He opened the bun of my hair. I was confused. He took a fistful of them in his hands and started stretching them.
"AHHHHH" I yelled in pain.
"Speak before I shoot everyone!" He yelled.
"I... I... Hailey Cameron... T... Take R-Robert A-A-Anderson as my... lawfully wedded h-husband" I said at the last. He released my hairs. I immediately started caressing my burning scalp.
After a few more rituals, the Wedding was almost done.
"With the power bestowed upon me, and by the mercy of the mightiest, I now announce you as husband and wife" the pries announced.
"Now you may kiss," the priest said. All the colors from my face vanished. No... I can't!
Robert smirked. He came to me.
"Congratulations Love," he said and caught my lips with his, roughly and brutally kissing him. I'm sure they were bruised after all that.
I ended the kiss as fast as I could. After that, I couldn't even stand. I fell on my knees. It was the end. I don't know what will happen, but I sure know that my family is also at stake.
"Let's go," he said and dragged me to his car.
Apart from being totally depressed, I was more than hurt by that single thing.
Why Ivan, why?
Hailey's POV
The car kept on moving. I stopped struggling to get out, which I did a lot in the start.
What will I do if I get out? Save Lisa, Sara, and Alex? Well, I know if I get out then they cannot be saved. Don't you think it's worthless?
I was sitting in the backseat and he was sitting in the driver's seat. He was in anger, his grip on the steering wheel was so tight that his knuckles turned white. I closed my eyes and let my tears flow. I didn't know what to do. My mind stops working whenever I'm in such a situation. By such a situation, I mean, that whenever I'm in trouble.
My thoughts were interrupted. Suddenly a cloth covered my mouth. I opened my eyes hurriedly, but I blacked out before I could even see anything.
I got up. I checked my surroundings. They were beautiful.
But, wait. This isn't my home? Just then all the memories of my wedding came crushing in my mind. I felt a severe headache. Tears build up in my eyes. But I got up anyway.
The room was a beautiful one. The bed was king-size, the room was painted in red and white. It looked really classy. There was a window somewhat near my height and a door. There was a walk-in-closet, with an attached bathroom and also a balcony.
I loved it.
"Answer me when I ask you something," he said in a calm tone looking deep into my eyes.
This time I really wanted to answer him but no! My vocal box always betrays me!
"Give the damn answer, Hailey!" he yelled. I took three more steps back. The room was very big, so I haven't hit the wall yet.
Otherwise, I have seen all those movies.
Never go near the walls, then!
"I... Y... Yes" I said finally.
"Good, my dear WIFE," he said. The word wife sounded like the worst thing that ever happened to me.
Or to be more honest, the worst thing ever happened to anyone.
I looked at my feet and the tears started dropping on the wooden floor.
"Don't cry" he said. I snapped at him with my eyes.
"Don't cry? You did everything to make me cry then why say something like that?!" I almost yelled with courage. He's acting as if he doesn't want me to cry.
"Well, I will spare you this time, but let me tell you about some rules," he said. I looked at him.
