It's been a week and I've been avoiding the boys at all cost. Every day since I've seen Royal, he's here. I could smell him. When I'm in the library, the boys play in the game room. When I'm in my room they're either downstairs or in one of their rooms.

I walk down the hall to the stairs. I wanted to go, but I couldn't. Just looking at him made me feel like the only girl in the world and that was kind of frightening. I never had a boyfriend or anything so I don't know what I should be feeling. It's very odd to me.

"Hey Leah, can you do something for me?" I ask as she came out of her room.

"No." she walks pass me without a second glance. I mentally groan. Why is she so fucking mean all the time.

"Nicki, hurry and come down so we can go." Layla yells from downstairs.

"What? Where are we going?" I yell back. I was not going downstairs, he's there, I could smell him.

"Remember we are going to the mall." she whines as I bite my lip knowing I cannot reschedule on her again.

"Uhhh okay, I'll be down." I mutter.

I knew she heard me. I went back in my room and put on a black tank top and black shorts. I slip on my bracelets and put my hair in a messy bun and slipped on my Nike's then ran out my room and down the stairs.

"Stop running. You know you clumsy." Liam says smirking. I shrug and continue to run until I was out the door. I let out a breath. I got pass him, thank goodness.

"Finally. We're coming." Landon tells me as I feel my heart stop. I turn my head to Royal who was looking at me. I turn away blushing.

"Shot gun." I exclaim going to the car. Layla was driving and I want to be beside her. The boys were complaining about how they wanted to sit in the front, as if they weren't going to complain if any one of them got the seat.

"Shut up. Little N got the seat. It's over." Layla says.

"Little N?" I ask her laughing, she just smiles nodding.

"It's cute, because you're short."

I pout frowning. I was 5'7 and she was 5'9 that is literally two inch of. Her brothers were giants to us both, they were all 6'0 getting the gene from my father of course. Leah was about my height, but I knew that would change because I wasn't going to grow anytime soon.

"I'm not short." I mumble. "You're just too tall."

"You're 5'7 and you're older than me." she exclaims. "Plus you have been this height since middle school."

"Hey, I am a very slow grower." I tell her as she just laugh.

"Just admit that you're a shortie." Layla says with a smirk.

"I'll admit that I'm not talking to you." I tell her with a smile. I turn to look out the window. Roman was itching to get out and go in the wood. It's been about two weeks since she been out. I'll let her out once we're home.

"Are you burning?" Levi Ask looking at me.

"Uh, no. I'm fine. It's not too hot." I tell him smiling the sun wasn't too hot today but I'm glad he still had me in his head.

"You're so lucky. You never get hot or cold." Layla whines.

"I sometimes do. When it's too hot, I feel hot." I tell her smirking but she frowns.

"Whatever let me see your fangs?" Landon says.

"You do this every time." I glare at him as I could feel Royal eyes on me. If I looked at him back I wouldn't be able to tear my eyes away.

"Come on, pretty please, I won't ask for the next three months." He begs. I sigh opening my mouth and letting my fangs come out. Sometimes it hurts to take them out. They always want to see my fangs. There's nothing special to me, but I guess because I'm used to it. They were just longer than any other teeth; the thing is I have never actually used them. Never had the desire to suck anyones blood unless taunted.

"Nice." Liam said touching it. I pull away from him as he does so.

"Don't do that. I was going to bite you." I say as he smirks.

"You like burgers right?" he ask and I nod at him. "Cooked?"

"Yes I do. Cooked or not it taste good." I say as he smiles.

"So Candice isn't your real mom?" he ask as I shake my head. I figured it would be that obvious.

"No my mom is a vampire." I tell him. I was halfway done with my fourth burger and fries. It was so good and I was so hungry. I didn't eat for six hours.

"Whoa, someone was hungry." Landon says sitting down between Royal and I. I growl, well Roman growl at him. I send him apologetic look but he smiles.

"Hey guys." Liam says sitting on the other side of me. Levi and Layla was right behind him and sat around the table.

"Don't touch my food." I growl at Levi and he dropped the burger that was in his hand.

"You that hungry?" Liam asks and I nod.

"I haven't eaten in 6 hours. That's the longest ever." I tell them.

"In your school you always ate?" Layla ask.

"I never went school. I had to home school myself." I told her as she gasp.

"That's horrible." Liam shook his head. "Why didn't you go school?"

"My mom never allowed it. She didn't want me around other wolves." I told them as they growl at that. I rolled my eyes at them, Of course they'll get mad.

"She's a meanie." Layla pouted and I just smile.

"Yeah, she is."
