The next second, he bolted upright in bed, all traces of exhaustion vanishing. "Callum is back?!"

"When?"

"This afternoon," Tarquin said. "He told me he tried calling you, but you didn't answer."

Keaton checked his call log and saw a missed call from an unknown number. "I slept right through it. I'll call him back in a minute. Is he okay?"

"I haven't seen him in person yet. I heard he's missing two fingers, but otherwise, he's fine."

Keaton's brow slammed into a furious frown. "Missing two fingers?!"

"Yeah. Zane's men cut them off."
