I went to meet the guy Lucas had introduced to me.

He was completely different from Lucas.

Kevin needed a model, and I needed a shield—both of us instantly hit it off.

Lucas's messages kept coming when I was lying in the studio, exhausted and sore.

So I replied with a rather impatient tone, "Don’t bother me, I’m having fun."

When I went downstairs, I saw a familiar Porsche parked outside.

"Get in the car." His face shadowed with displeasure.

"What are you doing here?"

I swallowed hard, my chest tight and hot.

"Your face is so red, what are you thinking?"

Seeing where I was trying to shield myself, Lucas’s gaze darkened.
