I woke up to moaning and quietly groaned knowing it was Caiden. Not even turning his way I tried to go back to bed but my hand went to my stomach as I felt cramps starting.

You've got to be kidding me.

I grabbed my phone off the stand next to my bed and checked the calendar, September first. Opening up my messages I sent a text to Nathan that said, "Pads and chocolate? Maybe some Midol? Love you"

I didn't get a response for a few minutes and guessed he was still sleeping. Checking the time I seen it was 4:57 a.m. I checked my bag and sighed in relief when I found one pad. I stuck it in my pocket so Caiden wouldn't see it and grabbed a new pair of underwear and headed to the bathroom ignoring the moans. Doing my business, I washed my hands and headed out of the bathroom. I didn't spare a glance at Caiden afraid of what I would see. I fell on my bed and closed my eyes trying to ignore the cramping. Why must girls go through hell?

"Get out," she heard Caiden's voice say. His voice was void of emotion as usual as he spoke to the girl making me peek an eye open to see he now had on a pair of black briefs and the girl was standing there stark naked.

"But I thought you said we could have a round two," she whined.

"I don't do seconds especially with sluts," he said before stretching his arms above his head.

"B-but," she stuttered tears welling up in her eyes.

"Can you get fuck out of my room?" he said glaring furiously at the girl and her eyes widened. She quickly got all of her clothes and left the room.

"You couldn't let her get dressed first?" I said with a raised eyebrow and he didn't respond and just sent me a menacing glare.

"Ya know you're different with just me around compared to the basketball court when my friends are around," he said and my heart stopped.

"What?" I said, my voice wavering a little.

Shit he knows.

"When you first came to this school you were all confident and now you're just a scared little freak," Caiden said, his dark eyes narrowing when I let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh, well you see that's um just-"

"Does it honestly look like I give a fuck? It just shows me you're finally learning your place. You're nothing more than an ant on the ground," he snarled and I tried to control my anger knowing I'll end up with something broken if I try to fight him.

"Why are you an ass?"

"What did you just say to me?" he snarled.

"That I had sex with Leon."

What?

"What?"

"You look hot in briefs?" Okay, so when I'm nervous I sometimes just say random things that come to my head. It's honestly a curse.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" he said, looking irritated.

"I have no idea," I said honestly. He didn't say anything after that and only laid in his bed facing away from me.

"Why are you so closed up?" I asked quietly. His cold eyes snapped to mine and I bit my lip nervously waiting for his answer.

"You don't need to know shit about me so mind your own damn business." He got up putting on a pair of jeans and left the room slamming the door behind him. My alarm went off at five thirty making me groan. Turning it off, I got up grabbing a towel and clean clothes before heading toward the bathroom.

"Good morning, class!" my dad said his eyes skimming over the hundred or so students in the room. He began his lecture and most of the class started taking notes while others, more specifically Caiden's group started to throw paper airplanes and had their feet on the desk. Before class started Nathan gave me a bag of everything I asked for with a few extra things. I ended up taking the Midol before so my cramps have started to disappear making me feel almost normal. I frowned when my phone started to vibrate and seen it was a text from Nick. Letting my eyes scan the room to see him with his feet up on his desk and his phone in his hand. Opening the text it read,

"Hey, wifey! You still in town? I was thinking a date tonight?" Nathan looked over my shoulder reading the text and frowned.

"Didn't you say he was a player?" he asked, whispering.

"Yeah, but you know I can handle myself," I whispered back smirking slightly.

"I hope those of you texting and talking in my class get a high score on your exam this Friday," my dad said giving us all a stern look.

"Wait, I thought your school was in Chicago?" he said confused and my eyes widened.

"It is. I'm just studying till twelve," I corrected easily.

"Oh okay. So then we can meet at one at steak and shake. Does that sound good?" he asked me

"Yeah, see you then," I replied and hung up.

"Why are you going on a date with him?" Nathan asked me.

"He's hot and plus I want to see what I can find out about Caiden," I said and he nodded understandingly.

"Hey, Nathan! Just the man I was looking for," Nick called out.

"Oh hey, Nick right?" he asked, giving me a look and Nick nodded.

"I just wanted to make sure you don't have anything going on with Claire because I don't want to ruin any sexual tension or anything," Nick said holding up his hands in surrender. Nathan and I busted out laughing. I bent over when my stomach started to hurt from laughing so hard.

"Sorry man that killed me. No, nothing is going on between us and there is definitely not any sexual tension. She's my best friend, that's it," he said, still chuckling.

"Good to know because I asked her on a date a few minutes ago," Nick said looking at Nathan. His eyes moved over to my amused smile on my lips and his eyes narrowed for a second before widening. His eyes skimmed my face before my body and he looked surprised like he couldn't believe something. "Well yeah I'll see you around Nathan and . . ," he trailed off his eyes still not leaving me. "Jace," he finished off and started to walk backwards. Nick took one more glance at me before turning around and heading back toward the school.

"That was weird," I said looking at his retreating figure and Nathan nodded, "Very weird," Looking at the time I noticed I had to go to one of my business management classes and quickly said a goodbye leaving Nathan. When I entered the room, it seemed to be mostly full. Finding a seat closer toward the front I sat down waiting patiently for the professor.

When class started my eyes skimmed the room and I realized Caiden wasn't here. This is one the only classes I have with him. I have English too but he didn't show up to that either.

Was he really that mad?

Ignoring my thoughts I tuned in to the lecture. "In order to keep a business going you have to know all about financials. You may have went over this a little in one of your high school classes, but today we are going to go more in depth," he started. "I definitely suggest you all take notes during today's lecture." Grabbing my pencil I opened my business management notebook and started to write.
